Advice from a Jilted Bride by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #2)

💙💙💙💙💙

The Baileys are fast becoming one of my favorite literary families! While each of these books can be read as a stand alone, they're definitely more enjoyable if you read the series in order. Each of the Baileys brings a different dynamic and history to their own story and I can't wait for the next one!

Summary:
When Brooklyn Bailey is left at the altar, and by text no less, she's left reeling and wondering what she really wants in life. After she discovers her ex-fiancee took another woman on their honeymoon, Brooklyn shuts herself in her apartment while letting her well-meaning friends and family believe she's on vacation.

Wyatt Whitmore doesn't know what to make of his new neighbor, but he finds himself checking on her to make sure she's alright. As the two develop a friendship, he helps Brooklyn create her business, while keeping a huge secret from her. With the help of the quirky Bailey family, can they survive any chance of a budding romance after truths are revealed?

Zara's Zephyr by Janelle Daniels (The Alphabet Mail-Order Brides #25)

💙💙💙💙💙

The story begins when Zara Wigg travels to start a school of her own and become a mail-order bride. The man she's fallen for through correspondence, isn't her husband-to-be, so Zara is left to find another match, per the requirements for the school funding.

Thaddeus Gray feels responsible for the betrothal failure and vows to help Zara find a new candidate, the only problem is he starts to wonder if finding gold is more important than love.

Zara's Zephyr is a charming tie-in to the Miners to Millionaires series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. A tale of deceit that leads to friendship, while searching for a suitable husband. I love Zara's strength and the protectiveness of Thaddeus. This is definitely one of my favorites in the AMOB series and I'll be revisiting them again in the near future!

A Mail-Order Destiny by Janelle Daniels (Miners to Millionaires - Book 10)

💛💛💛💛💛

This is the story of the last of Ivan's brides and the best one in the entire series. The author throws in humor, drama and suspense - with even a twist I didn't see coming!

Willow Packer finds herself inviting a damsel in distress to live with her, even though she's a stranger, but Abigail might be just the help she needs with her thriving business.

When Abigails brother comes to town, on a mission to bring her home with him, Willow is quick to stand up for her - even if he does make her heart skip a beat.

This book kept me reading from the second I started and I sent more than a few messages to the author in the process (hopefully she forgives me, lol).

I'm sad to see this series end, but there'll be a spin-off (which the books hints to), and I love how all of the other brides are woven into this story, so you leave with a feeling of completion.

Misadventures of a Backup Bride by Shayla Black (Misadventures Series #4)

A cute story of overcoming expectations and fighting for the opportunity to have happiness in life. Carson Frost is forced to hire a fake girlfriend to get out of a bad business deal. In order to get the money required to keep the business he inherited, Carson must marry the daughter of the man providing the funds.

Ella Hope is an aspiring actress, but hasn't forgotten the one time she met Carson. The feelings that sparked between the pair are mutual and make it easy to create the facade. When the act starts to feel like the real thing for Ella and Carson is at risk for losing more than his business, the two must decide whether it's possible to be together.

This has been my favorite addition to the "Misadventures Series". Extremely charming, funny and romantic story. I couldn't put it down, and kept trying to figure out a plan as to how the couple could work things out and have a functioning relationship, even though they're in different places in life. I highly recommend this one, and will definitely be reading it again soon!
