Zara's Zephyr by Janelle Daniels (The Alphabet Mail-Order Brides #25)

πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

The story begins when Zara Wigg travels to start a school of her own and become a mail-order bride. The man she's fallen for through correspondence, isn't her husband-to-be, so Zara is left to find another match, per the requirements for the school funding.

Thaddeus Gray feels responsible for the betrothal failure and vows to help Zara find a new candidate, the only problem is he starts to wonder if finding gold is more important than love.

Zara's Zephyr is a charming tie-in to the Miners to Millionaires series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. A tale of deceit that leads to friendship, while searching for a suitable husband. I love Zara's strength and the protectiveness of Thaddeus. This is definitely one of my favorites in the AMOB series and I'll be revisiting them again in the near future!

A Mail-Order Destiny by Janelle Daniels (Miners to Millionaires - Book 10)

πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

This is the story of the last of Ivan's brides and the best one in the entire series. The author throws in humor, drama and suspense - with even a twist I didn't see coming!

Willow Packer finds herself inviting a damsel in distress to live with her, even though she's a stranger, but Abigail might be just the help she needs with her thriving business.

When Abigails brother comes to town, on a mission to bring her home with him, Willow is quick to stand up for her - even if he does make her heart skip a beat.

This book kept me reading from the second I started and I sent more than a few messages to the author in the process (hopefully she forgives me, lol).

I'm sad to see this series end, but there'll be a spin-off (which the books hints to), and I love how all of the other brides are woven into this story, so you leave with a feeling of completion.

A Mail-Order Illusion by Janelle Daniels (Miners to Millionaires – Book 8)

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Violet comes from high expectations and people who lie to her. With no real friends, she’s forced to make the best of a situation, which involves living with 8 other women. Her ice-cold exterior slowly starts to melt, but with no promises on the horizon, she contemplates returning to her controlling family.

Jimmy Thornton is well-off, and still recovering from his failed courting of Aria. When he rescues Violet, they make a secret arrangement, and in doing so, it enables them to get to know one another without any facades.

I loved watching their friendship blossom and grow. Trust the author to throw in a good twist just to keep you on your toes! Only 2 more books to go in the series, but it’ll definitely be one that I revisit often.

A Mail-Order Dawn by Janelle Daniels (Miners to Millionaires - Book 6)

Rosalie Davis is on her way to visit a fellow “bride”, when she’s caught unexpectedly in a snow storm. Tom Brewer, the town blacksmith crosses her path, and together they have to weather the storm, among other obstacles in the great outdoors. They grow closer while facing the challenges of being stranded in a broke-down trappers cabin. One trial after another, they fight their feelings, while fighting to survive. Another great addition to the stories of “Ivan’s Brides”!

A Mail-Order Heart by Janelle Daniels (Miners to Millionaires - Book 1)

Clara Stewart has every intention of marrying Ivan, her mail-order groom, but her plans fall apart when he dies before her arrival—leaving not one fiancΓ©e but nine! When the female-starved town offers them Ivan’s home and  claim, Clara steps forward and promises to do whatever necessary to see to the women’s future, regardless of her own attraction to the town’s sheriff.
Sheriff Sawyer Morrison had one goal: to protect his town. But when nine women arrive, all claiming to be mail-order brides for the same recently-deceased man, his once quiet life is thrown into chaos. Safeguarding them from aggressive suitors is nothing compared to the inner battle he faces over Clara, a woman who heats his blood… but can never be his. When Clara is kidnapped by the same person who’s sabotaging their mine, Sawyer must choose between the life he knew and the future he craves
I adored this book! The characters are well-developed, and there's someone to love, hate and cheer for in this story!  The plot twist took me by surprise, and kept me on my toes. An overall great read and I can't wait for more in this series.
