The story starts off with Ash Callahan losing everything he
holds dear, ironically, when his dreams go up in flames. The minute Colby Quaid
comes roaring back into his life, he’s reminded of the heartache he once
suffered at her hands, and is determined to fight the attraction between them
that only grows stronger.
With Ash trying to discover the identity of a serial
arsonist, and Colby deciding the fate of her family’s company, they must lean
on each other for support and strength. This story has many ups and downs,
keeps you on your toes, and will have you guessing until the end. It’s not your
typical second-chance story, yet another great addition to the new Hearts and
Ashes series by Irish Winters.
