Renner by Irish Winters (In the Company of Snipers #19)

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Renner is one constant roller coaster ride that you don't want to end, all while covering your eyes and peeking through your fingers!

Irish Winters knows how to perfectly craft and weave a tale, leaving you breathless and wondering where the next plot twist will take The TEAM.

This is definitely one of those stories that make you never want to anger the author, with how much knowledge they have to properly dispose and maim your body, lol.

Yet another amazing addition to In the Company of Snipers series. Bringing back plenty of your favorite characters, and introducing you to new ones that you'll invite in your heart as well. Be prepared to laugh, wince and cry on this journey.

Beau by Irish Winters (In the Company of Snipers #18)

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Beau was a thrilling ride, with one twist after another. Just when you think you've figured out who's behind it all, or what's going to happen next, you're thrown for a loop that will keep you guessing until the next twist.

Definitely have tissues and ice cream ready for this one. Also make sure you have plenty of time set aside to read, cuz I assure you, you won't want to put this one down once you start!

With each book in the Snipers series, Irish is able to make you feel as if you're part of the TEAM and the members are truly your family. Beau is definitely my favorite so far (don't tell Alex).

Ace by Irish Winters (The Deuces Wild #4)

🂱 🂱 🂱 🂱 🂱

The Deuces Wild series is like an onion, with multiple layers that just keep drawing you in. Can be read as a stand alone, but more enjoyable if you've read the series, since previous characters come in to play.

Keller Boniface despises his place on the team, but there's nothing he won't do to save a brothers life. This is how he crosses the path of Savannah Church, right after she loses the only person in her life that matters...the very person Keller needed to get answers from.

Dark forces are at play, but Savannah and Keller need to work together in order to help Keller reach his full potential and save a life.

Ace is an exhilarating ride, with plot twists that literally leap off the page and hold you hostage until you finish. Savannah is a woman after my own heart, and she's living my dream of rescuing animals. From start to finish, this book is one of my favorites this year!

Irish Winters makes me fall in love with this series after each new book, even more than I thought possible, and strengthens my belief in the unknown. An outstanding addition to the series!

Summary:
Keller Boniface...
Always by the book, Keller's mission is to locate an elderly psychic in Louisiana and be quick about it. A teammate is dying; there's no time to waste. But the land of voodoo, gris gris, and etouffe is the last place Keller wants to be. He left a nightmare here once, and hasn't been back since. Yet he's nothing if not efficient. He can locate that psychic and be gone in a day, maybe less. Until he runs into the psychic's great granddaughter... Until his own psychic gift tells him precisely who and what Savannah Church is...

Savannah Church...
Impulsive. Intuitive. Savannah's a free spirit who collects strays, rescues fighting dogs, and manages the local no-kill animal shelter. Her life is perfect until the morning Gran Mere dies. Savannah knew this day was coming, but she hadn't expected her great grandmother would leave with a whispered warning to, 'Look for the wild rose that grows deep in the bayou. Watch for the warlock. You alone hold the key...'

Assassin by Irish Winters (SOBs #2)

💀💀💀💀💀

Assassin is an exhilarating addition to the SOBs series, and quite possibly the best book by Irish Winters yet!

This was a thrilling story of not knowing who you can trust, while trying to figure out who's behind it all. Non-stop action that will keep you glued to the pages, unable to stop until the very end.

Summary:
Pagan Sinclair doesn't usually question his marks, but when the sister of a friend is his new target, he needs to make absolutely sure it's for a valid reason before carrying out the hit.

Seth by Irish Winters (In the Company of Snipers - Book 17)

💙💙💙💙💙

Seth McCray is a former Army Sergeant, who has demons he can't conquer. He's haunted by the ghost of a girl he killed in self-defense, and blames himself for the death of his fiancee, even though it was an accident he couldn't control.

Deveraux Shepherd is a single mom out to help those who've faced similar tragedies as to what she's gone through. When she comes across Seth one night, while trying to fulfill a promise, their worlds are both turned upside down.

From the first chapter, this story takes you on one hell of a ride, and you never want it to end. The plot kept me guessing and the action was so intense, I found myself losing track of how much time I spent reading.

The character development is phenomenal, and you feel as though you're right there fighting along your best friends. These are stand alone books, so you can dive into them at any time...just don't expect to be able to stop with one!

One-Eyed Jack by Irish Winters (The Deuces Wild series – Book 3)

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Don't be distracted by the cover, this handsome specimen is more than a pretty face. Special Agent Isaiah Zaroyin is one of the FBI’s most valuable assets with his psychic gift to help get him out of sticky situations. Unfortunately, he’s told to work an undercover assignment with a tough Metro cop, who’s stubbornly out to prove she’s as good as any of the male officers.

Roxy Thurston has had her share of struggles in life and is determined not to allow Agent Zaroyin too close. After they’re forced to team up on a case, all bets are off. The chemistry and stubbornness between these two characters is off the charts explosive.

While trying to figure out the twists and turns of the plot, you’ll find yourself glued to the edge of your seat. The author provides plenty of entertainment and some points where I found myself holding my breath until the scene unfolded. This was another great addition to the Deuces Wild series, and it just gets better with each book!

Angel by Irish Winters (SOB - Book 1)

Chance Sinclair has secluded himself in the mountains of Montana, when his world is shattered. Chasing after the dog left in his care, they come across the frozen body of Suede Tennyson, who’s been left for dead. Chance is able to revive her and nurses her back to health, but now they’re trying to figure out what exactly happened, and who’s still out to end her life.

This was a great start to a new series by the outstanding Irish Winters! The story starts off with a bang and keeps you on your toes for the rest of the story. The dynamic between the characters is wonderful, I love the edge of your seat suspense and I will be reading this story again in the near future! LOVED it!

Joker Joker by Irish Winters (The Deuces Wild Series - Book 2)

Another smash hit for Irish Winters! This story is sure to keep your heart pounding with plenty of plot twists, just when you think you can’t take anymore, she throws in two more punches. Every book involving these characters makes me fall for them even more.

***************

This story starts out with tougher than nails Tate, doing a favor by taking a dying girl to her prom. The story just takes off from there, and it’s a wild ride til the end. Filled with moments that will make you laugh, cry, scream, and hold your breath. I was captivated from first chapter and found myself wanting to skip work so I could read more.

Eric by Irish Winters (In the Company of Snipers - Book 15)

This is the story of Eric and Shea, two very complex and wonderful characters with a history filled with joy and sorrow. Eric is my favorite book in the series so far, with plot twists you don't see coming, and a realistic view on how people handle tragedies.

Yet another page-turner from the talented Irish Winters, and a must-read, whether you've read the series or not, this will definitely draw you in. The writing is phenomal and you feel like you're part of the story, at times causing you to laugh and cry with the characters.

From the beginning, nothing is as it seems, and you find yourself doubting what you thought you knew. Filled with action, suspense, romance and drama - you can't go wrong!

Ash by Irish Winters (Hearts and Ashes - Book 2)

The story starts off with Ash Callahan losing everything he holds dear, ironically, when his dreams go up in flames. The minute Colby Quaid comes roaring back into his life, he’s reminded of the heartache he once suffered at her hands, and is determined to fight the attraction between them that only grows stronger.

With Ash trying to discover the identity of a serial arsonist, and Colby deciding the fate of her family’s company, they must lean on each other for support and strength. This story has many ups and downs, keeps you on your toes, and will have you guessing until the end. It’s not your typical second-chance story, yet another great addition to the new Hearts and Ashes series by Irish Winters.

Alex by Irish Winters (In the Company of Snipers Book 1)

Four years after the death of his wife and daughter, Alex Stewart has had enough and escapes to his cabin in the woods. There he comes across Kelsey Durrant on his porch, beaten and suffering from memory loss. She’s not sure who to trust, but forms a strong attachment to his dogs, especially Whisper.

Alex doesn’t want to get involved in the mess that is Kelsey’s life, but becomes very protective of her, particularly after learning part of her history from another member of his team. He discovers that her abusive husband plays the part of the worried, distraught spouse to the press, when in reality he’s out in the woods, literally hunting for his wife.

As a reader, you discover part of her history with her husband through Marks’ eyes, but it’s when Kelsey regains her memory that you feel your heart breaking. The struggle to overcome their past demons is something they need to rely on each other for, and they grow closer as he tells her the truth.

The character who captured my heart in this story was Harley. It’s obvious he’s had some hard times in his life and is trying to overcome them. He has a huge heart, and loyal to a fault. Putting his nose in other peoples business, when they’re too stubborn to go after what they deserve.

All in all, I loved this story, even though it left my heart hurting a little. It introduces you to some of the other characters that each have their own stories eventually in this series. I love the strength of the military family it’s based around, and the loyalty of everyone involved. I highly recommend listening to it on Audible, Troy Duran is amazing with the narrative. He brings each of the voices to life, no matter the gender or ethnicity. This book is a great start to a wonderful series, and I look forward to getting to know the characters even better and falling in love with them all as I continue…
