The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez

💛💛💛💛💛

The Friend Zone is my favorite book of 2019! The author takes you on a journey that will have you:

*Laughing so hard your cheeks hurt for hours.
*Having a deep chest pain from heartache.
*Ugly crying, no matter if you're in public.
*Wanting everyone around you to read it, so you'll have someone to talk to about the story!

This is the debut novel by Abby Jimenez, which still astounds me to this day, since it surpasses most of the ones I've read from authors of multiple books. I literally haven't been able to stop thinking about it, and have read it again twice since then.

Originally written as a prequel for The Happy Ever After Playlist, this is not only a story about Josh and Kristen overcoming personal obstacles, but you'll get to know Sloan's back story, so you're read to dive into THEAP when it releases in April 2020.

Don't miss out on this outstanding book, and I guarantee you'll feel the same way about these characters. Such a truly remarkable start to Abby Jimenez's writing career, and I'll be reading every book she writes in the future!

😂 Comedy
 ðŸ’§ Drama
💋 Romance

Summary:

Kristen Petersen doesn't do drama, will fight to the death for her friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don't get her. She's also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure that will make it impossible for her to have children.

Planning her best friend's wedding is bittersweet for Kristen -- especially when she meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He's funny, sexy, never offended by her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch: Josh wants a big family someday. Kristen knows he'd be better off with someone else, but as their attraction grows, it's harder and harder to keep him at arm's length.
