I enjoyed the diversity of the characters, between the friends and sisters, you never get bored and I found myself constantly entertained. I love how strong, stubborn, and fiercely independent Savannah is. Her love for animal rescues bonded with my heart right away. When she meets Dylan, you can't help but fall for him too. He's a lovable guy, that's been hurt in the past, yet stands no chance when a stray crosses his path.
This book is about the journey of Dylan and Savannah learning to trust one another, while overcoming things from their past (whether they realize it or not). The supporting characters have huge roles in this story as well, so it's not solely focused on the main characters. Very well written, and definitely worth staying up until *cough* 4am, to finish reading. It's definitely one I'll read again as well!
This was a great read, as soon as I finished reading it, I immediately bought the first two and I can't wait for the next book in the series! I highly recommend it, whether you're a baseball fan or not, you'll enjoy the story...and maybe even want to go adopt a pet!
