This story is filled with heartbreak, suspense, and laughter. After discovering her fiancée has been cheating on her, Leighton rents her childhood home to escape to. When she finds out that she was scammed, the broken cowboy who owns the home offers her a deal, room & board in exchange for working the farm.
This was a wonderful journey of two people overcoming their pasts and learning to open up their hearts again. SO much better than I was expecting, and it keeps you guessing with all of the twists and turns in the story. I originally got it through KU and immediately bought it when i finished reading, so it'd forever be in my Kindle library. I'll definitely be reading this one again in the near future!
