All Scot and Bothered by Kerrigan Byrne (Devil You Know #2)

💗💗💗💗💗

Kerrigan Byrne has outdone herself with this one! All Scot and Bothered is by far my favorite book she's penned to date. My heart is still pounding and it's been two hours since I finished.

**While this can be read as a stand alone, it's more enjoyable if you've read How to Love a Duke in Ten Days since those characters make several appearances in this book as well.

You're immediately drawn into the story and held captive by the intrigue, drama, suspense and romance. Such a beautifully woven tale of two people from similar pasts, striving to find the truth and protect the ones they hold dear.

A true enemies to lovers story, you'll find it hard to favor one character over another the more you get to know them. A steamy romance surrounded by intrigue and deception.

You'll go through all the range of feelings with this one! I laughed so hard it came out as a painful snort, then there were times I was close to tears, and once I literally felt chest pain over someone's heartache.

I adore when an author can run you through such an emotional maze and have you begging for more. The best part is the heroine is a plump female who doesn't back down from a challenge, even when she's lacking confidence.

I devoured this in one sitting, not even wild horses could make me put it down. From characters that will steal your heart, plot twists you won't see coming, and a genuine romance, this thrilling book will keep you on the edge of your seat!

A Mail-Order Destiny by Janelle Daniels (Miners to Millionaires - Book 10)

💛💛💛💛💛

This is the story of the last of Ivan's brides and the best one in the entire series. The author throws in humor, drama and suspense - with even a twist I didn't see coming!

Willow Packer finds herself inviting a damsel in distress to live with her, even though she's a stranger, but Abigail might be just the help she needs with her thriving business.

When Abigails brother comes to town, on a mission to bring her home with him, Willow is quick to stand up for her - even if he does make her heart skip a beat.

This book kept me reading from the second I started and I sent more than a few messages to the author in the process (hopefully she forgives me, lol).

I'm sad to see this series end, but there'll be a spin-off (which the books hints to), and I love how all of the other brides are woven into this story, so you leave with a feeling of completion.

Sophia's Leap-Year Courtship by Kristin Holt

Chadwick Hughes is crushed when the mail-order bride he's been corresponding with not only doesn't show, but doesn't exist. Sophia Sorensen is determined that no man will ever want her, so she has begun the process of going through the same agency.

Together they form a bond, as Chadwick hires Sophia for her legal services. In the crazy rituals of Leap-Year, anything can happen. They're pushed together by their mutual friends Naomi and Joe, and gossiped about in the paper on a weekly basis. I enjoyed how strong-willed, yet lovable the main characters are.

It was a delightful trip back in time as a reader. I'm always so thankful that Kristin does her research and is so knowledgeable about this time era. I feel like I can escape and still come out having learned new things. If this book doesn't leave you with a desire to find your own match and own a bicycle built for two, nothing will.
