My Vegas Groom by Piper Rayne (The Greene Family #3)

πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

TKO - this was a winner in my book! My Vegas Groom is the perfect read to get you in the mood for summer or that getaway with the girls.

Nikki Greene has her own goals and makes a living from telling the truth, so when she has to lie to the entire town and her family about her sham of a marriage, it might just be the one thing that can break her.

Logan Stone is a man after my own heart! He knows there's something between him and Nikki, so he's not about to let her go without a fight.

Logan is definitely a contender for book boyfriend of the year! I enjoyed this book so much, especially with the minimal drama, which created a pleasant, yet hilarious visit with the Greene Family we've all come to know and love.

I think the reason that Logan and Nikki are such amazing, trustworthy people is because they've surrounded themselves with a great support system of friends and family (except those who shall not be named!)

πŸ’‹ Romance

SUMMARY:

Waking up next to a stranger wearing a wedding ring was not on the itinerary.

I came to Las Vegas for a quick girl's trip, but somehow ended up a married woman. What I thought would stay in Vegas followed me back to my small town of Sunrise Bay, Alaska.

Of course, my new husband -- MMA champion fighter, Logan Stone -- couldn't find me alone at my house to tell me he wants to give our impromptu nuptials a shot. He has to tell me in front of my entire family and half the town.

The two of us couldn't be more opposite, but he offers me a deal I can't refuse which involves me pretending we're happily married for three months. Yeah, a lot of things can change in that short amount of time, most importantly catching feelings for a man whose lifestyle I despise.

My Beautiful Neighbor by Piper Rayne (The Greene Family #1)

πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

Perfect series for anyone missing the Bailey family! My Beautiful Neighbor is a wonderful new series, loosely tied to The Baileys series.

The prequel, My Twist of Fortune, introduces the Greene family, so while it's not required, it definitely makes the series more enjoyable to see how it all began, while getting to know each character better.

Presley Knight comes to town to break the news to a sister neither of them new about, but she finds a lot more than she expected. After inheriting a building from the mother she never knew, she must decide if she wants a fresh start and a chance to know her only remaining blood relative, or if she wants to high-tail it home to the safety of her parents.

Cade Greene doesn't get too close to anyone after losing his mother drastically at a young age, but the message has failed to be received by his heart, often causing him to walk away from those he loves.

My Bailey-loving heart is extremely happy right now! I loved seeing Grandma Dori again, as well as the rest of the Green family that I fell in love with while reading the prequel. A very mellow, slow build romance, and a delightful start to another epic series.

SUMMARY:

Who's the mystery woman who just walked into my brewery?

I'm not the only one from my Alaskan small town asking themselves that question. But I'm positive, I'm the only one in Sunrise Bay undressing the pretty blonde in my head. Everything about her, from her make-up to her high heels says she's a fish out of water.

Whispers and speculations run rampant until the secret of who she is gets uncovered. Then the rumor mill goes into overdrive when she announces she's staying to open a bookstore in the building next to mine -- throwing a big wrench into my plans to buy that empty building.

I quickly find myself in a tug-of-war since my business partner/brother is upset she's ruined the opportunity to expand our business. I try to keep my distance, but I've got one sister with a gossip column on the local radio station and two meddling grandmas setting me up as a tour director.

And now I kind of like the idea of our new neighbor staying. But small-town life isn't for the weak -- time will tell if she has what it takes to be one of us.

A Co-Worker's Crush by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #6)

πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

This story was worth the wait! A Co-Worker's Crush shows us that we can create a different future for ourselves, despite our circumstances and the past we come from.

Jolie steals the show in pretty much every scene she's in, with her innocence and pure adoration, plus she has Jax wrapped around her finger.

All readers have been waiting to see how Frankie's story would pan out, and it was SO worth the wait. With several appearances from her scum ex, she has to decide what's best for her daughter, even if it breaks the heart of more than one person.

Jax grew up in the foster system and finds it hard to open himself to others, let alone believe he's worthy of someone's love, or a family. If he doesn't win you over with his humor, he'll get you with the things he does for others.

I'm so sad to see The Rooftop Crew series come to an end, but knowing we'll see some of the characters in the spin-off makes my heart happy. Such an amazing addition and definitely one I'll read again soon!

SUMMARY:

Three tattoo guns.

Five motorcycle tires.

Countless T-shirts.

That's what I lost before I realized nothing good comes from dating my co-workers.

Usually, I don't have much self-control. So, the fact that Frankie Grant is a hot, talented tattoo artist means it's a damn miracle she hasn't already been in my bed. But nothing can happen between us because Frankie comes with Jolie, her young daughter, and a crap load of baggage from her ex. And those are two things I never entertain.

Anyone who knows me -- the screwed up foster kid from the wrong side of the tracks -- knows I'm not the guy you take home to meet your parents, let alone your kid. But I also know what it's like not to have parents, so things get complicated when Jolie asks me to be her daddy.

I might as well just slash my own tires now.

The Do-Over by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #5)

πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

The story you've been waiting for! The Do-Over is an amazing second chance romance. In true Piper Rayne fashion, they also draw you in to the next book in the series and have you counting down the days!

I've been waiting for Knox's story all through the series, but especially since Our Star-Crossed Kiss! It was SO worth the wait.

Poor Knox, once he sees the error of his ways, he has to convince the one person he left behind and didn't choose to have a fling with, to give him another chance. This officer can arrest me any day!

Kamea is a breath of fresh air! I love her fierce loyalty and independence. Feeling like you're someone's second choice isn't ideal and she handles it like a champ.

SUMMARY:

She was always the one.

Or so I thought.

Turns out my instincts were dead wrong.

Years ago I was faced with the choice between two women. Both were perfect in opposite ways. One was carefree and against commitment. The other was a woman you'd bring home to mom.

I was young, naΓ―ve and stupid. I'm sure you can guess who I chose.

Now, I'm older, wiser and know what the hell I want.

So, when the same two women pop back into my life it's my chance for a do-over. But they flipped the script. Just like me, they want different things now. Leaving me with one choice -- convince the woman I want that she wants me too.

Our Star-Crossed Kiss by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #4)

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

I was hooked from the first page! Romeo and Juliet step aside, Our Star-Crossed Kiss is the perfect romantic pairing, like a bagel and cream cheese!

A family rivalry that leads to a fake engagement, what could possibly go wrong? I fell for both families from the start and loved seeing the interactions, whether it was through friendship, love or hate.

Two very stubborn and opinionated families torn apart by a rift between the fathers, led to two best friends being torn apart at a young age and told they can no longer be friends.

Piper Rayne has done it again with this new addition to The Rooftop Crew series. It was almost like watching a reality TV series unfold on the pages, with plenty of laughter, steamy romance and family drama to keep you enthralled until the last page.

πŸ˜„ Comedy

πŸ’‹ Romance

SUMMARY:

She's got two strikes against her.

Her name is Erickson and her parents own The Bagel Place.

It wasn't always that way. When we were nine, we were best friends. But then a feud between our dads ripped their successful business apart -- and my best friend was ripped away too.

Our paths were bound to cross again. When both our families vie for the same spot on a Food Channel's reality show, the producers decide to change the format, aligning us as allies.

In order to get our parents to agree to work together, Evan asks me to pretend to be her boyfriend, but I dare her to up the ante -- be my fiancΓ©e. Fake fiancΓ©e...obviously.

As usual, I didn't think things through. Turns out our parents have a lot of demands neither one of us expected. And all those demands lead to things feeling more real than fake.

Rules for Dating Your Ex by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #9)

πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹

The perfection conclusion to the Baileys series! Rules for Dating Your Ex is the story we've all been waiting for since meeting Sedona Bailey, and my heart couldn't be happier right now.

First and most important: If you haven't read Lessons from a One Night Stand yet, go grab it for free and then binge-read the entire series until you've caught up. Now you may continue to read...

Sedona Bailey had her heart broken during the most emotional and trying time of her life, but she had to do what was best for her and her unborn baby...even if that was to leave the father.

Jamison Ferguson (be still my heart with his accent) hit rock bottom after a career-ending injury, causing him to stay away from the two most important people in his life until he can prove himself worthy again.

I can't possibly express how much I love the entire Bailey clan, including their significant others and offspring. Grandma Dori is still by far my favorite and she's even feistier in this book!

While I'm sad to see the Baileys series come to an end, I've enjoyed the ride immensely, finding new characters to love and obsess over, and I'm thrilled for a new series to begin.

Watching Jamison have to win over Sedona, Palmer and the rest of the clan was the highlight of my week. The family interactions are hilarious and heartfelt as always, leaving you wishing there was a family reunion you could crash and somehow become an honorary Bailey.

Piper Rayne have outdone themselves with this series and I will recommend it until I'm blue in the face. It's definitely one that I'll have on my yearly reading list to binge!

πŸ˜„ Comedy
 πŸ’§ Drama
πŸ’‹ Romance

SUMMARY:

If your ex arrives in your hometown eighteen months after you walked out on him while you were eight months pregnant, follow this short list of rules before you give him a second chance.

Rule #1 - Don't stand in the way of your brothers who want to rough him up.

Rule #2 - Don't meet him for coffee and agree to allow him to meet your daughter.

Rule #3 - Don't drool when your daughter falls asleep on his chest for the first time. It's just your ovaries talking.

Rule #4 - Don't let him hold your hand. While we're at it, no hugs, no kisses on the cheek...just no physical contact in general. That only leads to remembering better times.

The last one is the most important...

Rule #5 - When you find yourself needing someone's help and you're tired of always asking your family, don't let him be the one who's there for you.

Because all those good qualities of his will suck you right back in and you'll have no chance of fighting your feelings, especially now that he's ready to be a father to your daughter.

The Rival Roomies by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #3)

πŸ”‘πŸ”‘πŸ”‘πŸ”‘πŸ”‘

The Rival Roomies is the perfect roommate/rival romance! If you love to watch two stubborn characters who have obvious feelings for each other, live in denial until someone else enters the equation, then this is the book for you.

Rian is incredibly smart, and you'll feel nothing but compassion for her every time she interacts with her parents. They just want bragging rights, while all she truly needs is to know they love her.

Dylan grew up in the foster system, so when his rival from childhood moves in with the one woman he won't allow himself to have, he's determined to make sure nobody can have her either.

I loved Dylan and Rian's story! While it had a few serious moments, there are definitely plenty of steamy scenes and hilarious banter to keep you smiling.

As usual, I enjoy seeing the other characters come into play from the previous books and I can't wait for more in this series. Piper Rayne is a writing duo I can always pre-order and know I'll devour every word!

πŸ˜„ Comedy
πŸ’‹ Romance

SUMMARY:

I've loved him from afar.

Though most times he's only a foot away.

I'm smart enough to know he'll never be anyone's forever.

He checks all the bad boy boxes. Tattoos. Check. Motorcycle. Check. Chip on his shoulder. Check check.

If he wasn't my neighbor and friend, I may have thrown myself at him. Okay, yeah. I wouldn't. Because guys like Dylan don't want a woman who writes kid's math textbbooks, under him in bed. Instead, I pathetically savor morsels of moments where I have his sole attention.

That was until his archenemy moved in with me. Now suddenly, Dylan's moving in too and warning off the first guy in a long time who's showing me interest. Could he finally see me as more than a friend, or am I just a prize to win and show off to his enemy?

A Royal Mistake by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #2)

πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

A Royal Mistake wins the crown in my book! I'm a fairy tale lover, but mix in some steamy times, romance, comedy and secrets...I'm a goner.

I've loved all of Piper Rayne's books, but after reading the first one in the Rooftop Crew series My Bestie's Ex, I was not a fan of Sierra, so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to relate at all to her character...but I was SO wrong.

The best part about these books is while you can technically read them as a stand alone, you'll enjoy the interactions and appearances from characters you've come to know and love.

I had a hard time putting this one down, because I couldn't see how the story could possibly work out. I even found myself thinking about it on my commute, counting down the minutes until I could dive back into the story.

This story isn't all fun times and romance, there were moments that will pull at your heart strings and make you love certain characters even more. I love Sierra and Adrian, and can't wait to see who's story is told next in the series!

πŸ˜„ Comedy
 πŸ’§ Drama
πŸ’‹ Romance

Summary:

He's not your average Joe from the corner bar.
He's the heir to the crown.

I should know, I've followed him for years.
Not in a stalkerish way. Magazines and online gossip blogs are fair game when you're royalty. But I do know every detail about him, down to the brand of boxer briefs he wears.

All my studying of the man who plays a starring role in my dreams pays off when I win a dinner with him. As if that wasn't enough, he barters a deal with me that has him moving into my spare guest room.

I forgot that fairy tales don't exist though because just as I'm about to get everything I want, including the prince, I find out there's someone in Prince Adrian Marx's life I don't know -- his fiancee.

My Bestie's Ex by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #1)

πŸ₯―πŸ₯―πŸ₯―πŸ₯―πŸ₯―

My Bestie's Ex is a meet cute you won't forget! This story will leave you wanting to find the best local bagel place and perhaps taking a train ride or two.

The chemistry in and out of the office will keep you entertained from start to finish. Blanca takes no crap from anyone and I love how she gives as good as she gets, especially from Ethan.

While this can be read as a stand along, I definitely recommend reading the White Collar Brother series first, so you can fall in love with the perfection that is the Mancini brothers, before reuniting with them in this book. I'm so glad Blanca finally had her story told, and it was well worth the wait!

πŸ˜„ Comedy
 πŸ’§ Drama
πŸ’» Office Romance

Summary:

I can't borrow him.
He's not a sweater or a skirt.
He's not even her favorite dress -- the lucky one she wears on first dates. The one she probably wore on her first date with him.

In my defense, I didn't know who he was. To me, he was a cool, calm, confident stranger. He was perfection for the entire hour and a half train ride while the concrete jungle turned into a rolling green landscape.

To an outsider, we probably appeared more friends than hopeful lovers. But my blush came quickly, and his dimples indented with every smile. We definitely shared a spark of what could be.

Too bad I didn't know who he was before I fell for him, because he can't be mine.

Confessions of a Naughty Nanny by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #6)

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Confessions of a Naughty Nanny is about giving love a second chance! This book will have you falling in love with the Bailey family all over again. If only they really existed, I'd move to Alaska in a heartbeat!

Phoenix Bailey is the one in her family that can't seem to do anything right, so when she arranges to become a nanny in order to advance her music career, you know it's going to end up blowing up in her face.

Griffin Thorne has had enough of the fame and wants to focus on his son while he's still young. The last thing he wants is to be in a relationship, let alone with someone who has their sights set on moving to LA and entering the world he just escaped from.

This story was everything I wanted and more! The dynamic between Maverick (who stole my heart) and Phoenix was the highlight of the book for me. The way they connected over similar experiences won me over immediately.

I know Piper Rayne loves to mess with my heart, and this was no different. There are moments when I wanted to message them and threaten bodily harm if I didn't get a happy ending, but I've learned to trust the process.

As usual, you get all the Bailey clan in this one and it's always like attending a family reunion! I love the family dynamics and each book just gets better and better. I can't wait for the next one!

Summary:

When a famous music producer moves to Lake Starlight it can't just be a coincidence. It's the universe helping to move things along in the right direction so that Griffin Thorne can discover me.

I have to confess - I'll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Confession #1: I may have overheard that he was in search of a nanny. What can I say? My brother has a big mouth.

Confession #2: It's possible I helped along the assumption that I had nanny experience. Hey, babysitting my nieces and nephew counts, right?

Confession #3: There's a good chance I oversold my qualifications. But my Grandma Dori backed me up, so it's not completely my fault.

And it worked. He hired me. Only for me to find out that he left the business. I guess it's on to Plan B.

When he accidentally overhears me singing, I expect nothing from him. Then he asks to work with me on a song for our town's Founder's Day Parade and it feels like a dream come true. Until...

Confession #4: I've fallen for him.

Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #5)

πŸ“œπŸ“œπŸ“œπŸ“œπŸ“œ

Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy will bring out the adventurer in you! Be prepared for witty banter and lots of laughter while reading this new addition to The Baileys series.

It took me a while to warm up to Cleo Dawson, as she comes off as cold-hearted at first, but once you witness her family dynamic, you'll understand more about what makes her tick.

Denver Bailey - I've been waiting (not so patiently) for his story, and it was more than I ever could've hoped for. He's no stranger to losing loved ones, but when his mentor passes away, it hits him hard.

The reality TV show was the perfect backdrop to witness Denver and Cleo's chemistry ignite. Neither of them will back down from their opinions and it just makes for a more lively story.

The character growth was the best part for me as a reader, and I loved watching Denver and Cleo each come into their own. I'll be the first to admit, this is my favorite book in the series so far, and that's a huge deal, considering how much I love this family! Another hit for Piper Rayne!!!

πŸ˜„ Comedy
 πŸ’§ Drama
πŸ’‹ Romance

Summary:

You might be wondering how you'll know when your playboy ways are coming to an end. For some it might be an unexpected pregnancy (ahem...you know who), for others it might be finally landing the one woman you've always wanted (cough...I won't mention any names). For me, it was the death of my mentor and the subsequent reading of their will.

The signs were there, they always are. But I didn't notice them until it was too late, and my demise was complete.

Demise Sign #1 - You find yourself thrust into the land of responsibility and you don't immediately hightail it out of town.

Demise Sign #2 - Despite being stuck with the world's biggest Jekyll & Hyde, some sadistic part of you actually enjoys spending time with her.

Demise Sign #3 - Your family suddenly stops wanting to weigh in on every decision in your life.

Demise Sign #4 - Somehow you end up being the voice of reason in your tumultuous partnership.

Demise Sign #5 - You start thinking of other people before yourself.

Demise Sign #6 - You agree to put yourself in the middle of an Alaskan reality TV show that has both of you sleeping in the same tent.

Demise Complete.

Falling for my Brother's Best Friend by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #4)

❤❤❤❤❤

Savannah's story is everything I've been waiting for! I loved watching Liam slowly coax her out of the shell she's been in since her parents death, and in return, Savannah tries to break through his walls as well.

It's clear how much Liam cares for her, but he keeps his distance since she's not just another fling. All they did was make out after the reception and yet neither one of them can get the other one out of their head.

Grandma Dori is still the highlight of the story and as usual, the epilogue is the best part! The Bailey family is always there for each other, and I love how the characters are such an active part of the story, making you want to read the previous books in the series all over again.

 πŸ’§ Drama

πŸ’‹ Romance

Summary:
Let's say you're an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother's best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.

Abandon Falling #1 - He's a womanizer. Hasn't had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.

Abandon Falling #2 - He's never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.

Abandon Falling #3 - When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It's so annoying.

Abandon Falling #4 - He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn't that sound like a bad thing anymore?)

Abandon Falling #5 - There's a growing list of how different you two are. You can't get along for fifteen minutes - a lifetime together would land one of you in prison.

Keep repeating those reasons and drown yourself in work. Pretend you don't notice his good qualities or how enticing he looks without a shirt, and do not, I repeat, do not agree to live with the man while your place is being repaired from flood damage.

Trust me, even the strongest of us can only forego temptation for so long.

Operation Bailey Wedding by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #3.5)

πŸ‘°πŸ‘°πŸ‘°πŸ‘°πŸ‘°

Operation Bailey Wedding reunites your favorite members of the Bailey clan! Not only do you get to prepare for the wedding day of Austin and Holly, but you get tender moments with some of the other Bailey couples as well.

I love that there's a touch of drama in this story, but plenty of sexy times with a variety of couples from previous books. Of course, anything with Grandma Dori is going to put a smile on your face and wishing the Baileys could adopt you into their family.

If nothing else, this book will have you counting down the day (if not the hours) until Falling For My Brother's Best Friend releases in October!

Dirty Flirty Enemy by Piper Rayne (White Collar Brothers #2)

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Who knew that realtors could be so sexy? I'm sure Carm could narrate a phone book and I'd still buy it! Office romance, witty banter and no strings attached hook-ups...one-click this book now!

How do you fight the swoon level, when your business rival works across the hall from you? Throw in a healthy competition to sell the most units, and more than money is at stake.

A traumatic event in Bella's past still haunts her, but she's determined to continue living her life. When she can't resist Carm anymore, they venture into a mutually exclusive understanding.

Carm and Bella can't see their situation the way others do, so while they're in blissful denial of growing feelings, certain truths come to light that could possibly break apart everything they knew.

I didn't think anyone could top Enzo and Annie for me, but Dirty Flirty Enemy certainly raised the bar. Piper Rayne has done it again and now I want to go look at property, to hopefully find my own Carm!

πŸ˜„ Comedy
πŸ’‹ Romance

Summary:
He's the arrogant Manhattan realtor with billboards advertising his six-pack more than his expertise in negotiations.

I'm the competing broker who stupidly moved across the hall from his office.

From day one, I've been his sworn enemy. Okay, so I might have accidentally stolen one of his clients. Well, is it stealing if the client comes to me?

Even our vicious banter and loathing gazes can't hide the chemistry between us. Who can blame me? He has enough charisma to make every hot-blooded woman in the city melt with a single word.

Just when I think a mutual respect could be born between us, the biggest developer in the city offers us an opportunity that pits us against each other.

Time to forget Carmelo Mancini's dreamy eyes and tight abs.

Game on.
