Steal My Magnolia by Karla Sorensen (Love at First Sight #3)

❤❤🏕❤❤

Finding love in the great outdoors! Steal My Magnolia will leave you with a smile on your face and wanting to go camping with the one you love.

Wanting to make her own way in life, away from her dad's notoriety, Magnolia applies for a job, but keeps her personal details to a minimum, knowing that she'll instantly be recognized by her name.

When her past collides with her present, it not only leaves her new job in jeopardy, but destroys any hope for a relationship with her new boss, either personal or professional.

Grady is finally pursuing his dream of opening an outdoor adventure business, but the last thing he expects is to find instalove with his new assistant Lia.

I've been waiting for Magnolia's story ever since watching her heart break in Batter of Wits, and it was SO worth the wait! This was another hit for Karla Sorensen and I love the world she's created within this series.

💋 Romance

SUMMARY:

Life lesson from Grady Buchanan: If you're going to fall in love with the untouchable girl in town, don't hire her as your only employee.

Even after he bungled the interview with Magnolia MacIntyre, he knew better than to hire her. The list of why it's a bad idea is a long one.

Her father could ruin his fledgling business.

She is completely overqualified.

And he's attracted to her.

What does Grady do? He offers her the job.

Magnolia knew better than to take it. Normally, she'd make the safe choice, and working for Grady is anything but.

He's new in town -- and entirely too charming.

Her dad will be furious.

She hates the outdoors and working for an outdoor adventure company is not exactly the right fit.

What does she do? She says yes on the spot.

Grady and Magnolia will have to prove to everyone in their life that they're not crazy. And prove to each other that the list of why it's a bad idea should be tossed out the window.

For these two opposites, sometimes doing the wrong thing is exactly right.

Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #5)

📜📜📜📜📜

Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy will bring out the adventurer in you! Be prepared for witty banter and lots of laughter while reading this new addition to The Baileys series.

It took me a while to warm up to Cleo Dawson, as she comes off as cold-hearted at first, but once you witness her family dynamic, you'll understand more about what makes her tick.

Denver Bailey - I've been waiting (not so patiently) for his story, and it was more than I ever could've hoped for. He's no stranger to losing loved ones, but when his mentor passes away, it hits him hard.

The reality TV show was the perfect backdrop to witness Denver and Cleo's chemistry ignite. Neither of them will back down from their opinions and it just makes for a more lively story.

The character growth was the best part for me as a reader, and I loved watching Denver and Cleo each come into their own. I'll be the first to admit, this is my favorite book in the series so far, and that's a huge deal, considering how much I love this family! Another hit for Piper Rayne!!!

Summary:

You might be wondering how you'll know when your playboy ways are coming to an end. For some it might be an unexpected pregnancy (ahem...you know who), for others it might be finally landing the one woman you've always wanted (cough...I won't mention any names). For me, it was the death of my mentor and the subsequent reading of their will.

The signs were there, they always are. But I didn't notice them until it was too late, and my demise was complete.

Demise Sign #1 - You find yourself thrust into the land of responsibility and you don't immediately hightail it out of town.

Demise Sign #2 - Despite being stuck with the world's biggest Jekyll & Hyde, some sadistic part of you actually enjoys spending time with her.

Demise Sign #3 - Your family suddenly stops wanting to weigh in on every decision in your life.

Demise Sign #4 - Somehow you end up being the voice of reason in your tumultuous partnership.

Demise Sign #5 - You start thinking of other people before yourself.

Demise Sign #6 - You agree to put yourself in the middle of an Alaskan reality TV show that has both of you sleeping in the same tent.

Demise Complete.
