Once Upon a Duke by Carina Rose (Once Upon A Sweet Romance #3)

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

A swoon-worthy and sweet romance! Once Upon a Duke is a pure delight. I adored everything about this story and immediately wanted to watch The Prince and Me as soon as I finished reading.

Janine and Cameron form a genuine friendship when they become roommates and through their volunteer work, but once a reporter risks finding out about their living arrangements, they must come up with a cover to prevent a scandalous story.

Janine is thrust into the limelight as Cameron's fake fiancΓ©e, and they plan on having a lengthy engagement so they can have time to sort things out, but once they visit Montclair, they discover the wedding plans are already in motion.

This was such a heart-warming and charming story filled with shenanigans, witty banter, and a romance you won't forget. All of the characters quickly found a place in my heart and I loved watching them reach for their dreams!

πŸ’– Sweet Romance

SUMMARY:

"You're a duke?"
"Let me explain."

Living with a too-handsome-for-his-own-good roommate was trouble enough, but adding his royal title into the equation took it to an entirely different level.
And why stop there?

Toss in that Cameron Edward Alexander, Duke of Montclair, has just announced to an eager reporter that Janine Hughes was his fiancΓ©e. Granted, he'd said it in an accent that dreams were made from, but still... Engaged? To a duke? No way.

Janine didn't know if she should bow, curtsy, or call him Your Grace.

This wasn't in her plans. Janine wasn't ready to be engaged to any man, much less a royal -- and one she barely knew. But after hours of Cameron's pleading (and a bit of shameless groveling), she agreed to pose as his fiancΓ©e and go to Montclair so they could do damage control.

Little did they know, the wedding plans had already begun.

A Royal Mistake by Piper Rayne (The Rooftop Crew #2)

πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

A Royal Mistake wins the crown in my book! I'm a fairy tale lover, but mix in some steamy times, romance, comedy and secrets...I'm a goner.

I've loved all of Piper Rayne's books, but after reading the first one in the Rooftop Crew series My Bestie's Ex, I was not a fan of Sierra, so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to relate at all to her character...but I was SO wrong.

The best part about these books is while you can technically read them as a stand alone, you'll enjoy the interactions and appearances from characters you've come to know and love.

I had a hard time putting this one down, because I couldn't see how the story could possibly work out. I even found myself thinking about it on my commute, counting down the minutes until I could dive back into the story.

This story isn't all fun times and romance, there were moments that will pull at your heart strings and make you love certain characters even more. I love Sierra and Adrian, and can't wait to see who's story is told next in the series!

Summary:

He's not your average Joe from the corner bar.
He's the heir to the crown.

I should know, I've followed him for years.
Not in a stalkerish way. Magazines and online gossip blogs are fair game when you're royalty. But I do know every detail about him, down to the brand of boxer briefs he wears.

All my studying of the man who plays a starring role in my dreams pays off when I win a dinner with him. As if that wasn't enough, he barters a deal with me that has him moving into my spare guest room.

I forgot that fairy tales don't exist though because just as I'm about to get everything I want, including the prince, I find out there's someone in Prince Adrian Marx's life I don't know -- his fiancee.

The Royal Treatment by MJ Summers

Once the newly elected Prime Minister is trying to dissolve the monarchy as a whole, Prince Arthur must come up with a plan to save everything he holds dear. The King has been in the news for tax problems, and a recent poll on the popularity of the royal family shows their support is at an all-time low. Arthur decides to invite his toughest critic to stay at the palace for two months (conveniently while his father is out of the country), in the hopes of having them shadow his daily activities and see what all the monarchy does for the people.
Enter Tessa Sharpe, author of the Royal Watchdog site, review blogger, and hater of all things royalty. She agrees to live at the palace in the hopes of finding dirt on the royal family, and ending their reign once and for all. She gets the prince to agree to a weekly live interview on her website, but thanks to his loyal fans, the top five questions in the weekly poll are about material, immature things and not the in-depth quality she’s hoping for.
*******

I found this story to resemble Pride and Prejudice, while still maintaining it’s own uniqueness. I love when Tessa finds herself in situations that are hilarious and often, unflattering, it makes me relate to her even more. The chemistry and bantering between the main characters is constantly entertaining, and the family/friends are great for additional comedic moments. I laughed so hard while reading this story, and even cried a little. I can’t wait for the next installment!
