The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting by Emma Hart (The Bookworm's Guide #3)

💜💜💜💜💜

Witty banter at it's best! The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting is chock full of laughter and romance. Please do NOT eat or drink while reading this story, as I can guarantee (from experience) it won't end well.

This was a delightful story of friends to lovers, and I especially enjoy when the male lead has the strong feelings first. *Swoon*

Dylan is the perfect gentleman and sets the bar high for non-book boyfriends around the world. His patience, kindness and being willing to just be friends, regardless of his own feelings, stole my heart.

This was the perfect ending for The Bookworm's Guide series, filled with witty banter, hilarious senior citizens, and romance that will sweep you off your feet.

The highlights for me were the cleverly created merchandise for the bookstore, and if it's a real thing, I'm ordering them asap! Here's an example of my favorite two:

"My books are hotter than this coffee."

"I take a different man to bed every night."

I can't wait for the new Introvert's Guide series, featuring characters we already know and love! Emma Hart has created a wonderful world that any reader can escape into, time and time again.

SUMMARY:

What I thought I'd get on Valentine's Day: a card.

What I got on Valentine's Day: a blind date with my brand new roommate.

Let it be known that I, Saylor Green, am wholeheartedly against blind dating. I think it's superficial, unnecessary, and designed wholly to force people into relationships they aren't ready for. It's me. I'm people.

So when Dylan Parker takes the seat across from me, I'm ready to dismiss him at one glance.

The problem? He's hot and funny and sweet and the exact kind of guy I read about in the romance novels I sell like hotcakes in my bookstore.

He's also my new roommate.

Who likes to walk around in his sweatpants and peer over my shoulder and comment on all my online dating escapades.

When he offers to help me flirt my way to dating success, I'm all for it.

But what am I supposed to do when the only person I want to flirt with is...Dylan?

Number Neighbors by Emma Hart

❤❤❤❤❤

Number Neighbors is a guaranteed good time! My favorite thing about any Emma Hart book is I know I'll laugh out loud and probably snort embarrassingly loud at some point. Her characters always have the best quirks and a serious lack of filter.

I'd make an appointment with Isaac Cooper any time, and I'm currently pet-free. He's the perfect gentleman unless provoked (in the best way.)

Hannah has enough on her plate between a stray kitten and an opinionated Grandmother, the last thing she needs is a complicated love life.

The texts between these two will have steam rising from your pages. Grandma Jen is quite the spunky lady, between her explicit book club and her sassy attitude, she'll keep you in stitches.

It's hard to pick a favorite Emma Hart book, but I have to say this one ranks right at the top for me, especially as a cat lover. Lots of comedy, romance and no drama - the perfect mix to give you a great escape from reality.

Summary:

BAD IDEA #241: Sending a dirty text to your number neighbor.

In my defense, my friends did it too, and their neighbors took it as the joke it was.

Mine didn't.

He responded with a dirty text of his own. Next thing I know, I have a standing texting date every night at ten-thirty.

Until I have to miss it because the stray kitten who adopted me one week ago is sick. The only person I know who can help me at this time of night is my British next-door neighbor and local vet, Isaac Cooper.

I'll keep him overnight, he says. Here's my number to call me in the morning, he says.

The problem?

I know that number.

Because I've been texting it every night for the last four days...

Kiss Me Tonight by Emma Hart (Kiss Me #2)

💋💋💋💋💋

Kiss Me Tonight should NOT be read while eating or drinking! Emma Hart is one of my favorite go-to authors, when I want a non-filtered, guaranteed laugh fest.

The story is written so that you can perfectly imagine what Reagan is going through, and she'll have you laughing through tears right along with her.

The banter between Reagan and Noah is refreshingly uncensored, and they both give as good as they get. At one point, I had to stop reading, so I could pull myself together. (I'm just glad I wasn't in public.)

The secondary characters in this story are just as entertaining, if not more so, and you'll find yourself escaping all the worries and cares of your every day life, and fully immersing into this unfolding disaster, one page at a time.

I absolutely loved this story and am counting down the days until the next book in the series releases. This is a must-read, especially if you love a good RomCom!

Summary:
What do a wrong number text, a burning building, and a quirky florist have in common? A hunky firefighter with an extra-large...hosepipe.

In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger's, um, eggplant, in my inbox.

I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames.

But it's fine. It's fine. Everything is fine.

I'm only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I've ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don't serve wine to patients in this place.

But like I said, it's fine.

Until he walks in.

The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs.

And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday? It's his.

Kiss Me Not by Emma Hart (Kiss Me #1)

💋💋💋💋💋

Kiss Me Not will leave you with sore cheeks! Such a delightfully, witty comedy that will keep you in stitches. I can't recall the last time I laughed so hard (too bad I was at work).

The banter between Halley and Preston will have you laughing out loud, no matter what your surroundings. The fact that they both clearly like each other, but deny it, keeps you waiting for who will surrender first.

What makes this story even better, are the secondary characters. They add the perfect amount of trouble and comedy that'll have you reading each page with bated breath.

I can't wait for more books in this series and if you want a hilarious read, this is definitely the book for you!

😄 Comedy
💋 Romance

Summary:
What do you do when you're the reigning kissing booth champion but the only person you want to kiss is your best friend's brother?

Let me make this clear right here, right now: I, Halley Dawson, do not care that Preston Wright is kissing other women.
Not a lick. Not at all. Nuh-uh-freakin'-uh.
I do care that he's doing it six feet away from me behind a gaudy velvet curtain - making him my competition in this year's kissing contest.
Why do I care, you ask? Because I've had an unfortunate crush on the insufferable idiot since I was sixteen years old, but I also know it's never going to happen.
He's the Creek Falls bachelor to die for, and I'm the Creek Falls raccoon lady who puts peanut butter sandwiches out for them every night.
I'm not going to let him break my four-year-long reign - no matter how many times he breaks the rules and slides the curtain across to do the one thing he's not allowed to:

Kiss me.

The Accidental Girlfriend by Emma Hart

❤❤❤❤❤

The Accidental Girlfriend will have you making shirts from some of the one-liners! I've never highlighted so many quotes in a book before, and this was the perfect light-hearted comedy.

I'd almost put an ad on Craigs List if there was even a remote chance of this happening, lol. The chemistry between Lauren and Mason is undeniable, but it's their easy friendship that will captivate your heart.

Emma Hart is a master with romantic comedy and if I met her in person, I'd bow down at her feet. Prepare for your sides to hurt the next day from laughing so hard!

😄 Comedy
💋 Romance

Summary:
TOP TIP: Don't put out an online ad offering your services as a fake date. Someone will take you up on it.
And it won't just be for one night.

And that, ladies and gentleman, is how I ended up being Mason Jackson's fake girlfriend.

He didn't even want me to be. No - his sister was solely responsible for me being his date for his ten-year high school reunion.

Now, she's responsible for telling his parents our relationship is real.

We have no choice. We have to act like this isn't all a mistake, like it's not all fake, like we're totally, completely, utterly, head-over-heels in love with each other.

Simple, right?

Wrong.

The Roommate Agreement by Emma Hart

💛💛💛💛💛

A friends to lovers romance that'll steal your heart, and have you binge-watching The Big Bang Theory! The comedy and witty banter will have you in stitches, while having you wish for a Roommate Agreement of your very own.

Brief Summary:
Shelby is a writer, happy with her organized life. When her best friend Jay needs a place to crash, she offers her apartment.

Unfortunately, the temporary housing occurs for longer than Shelby expected...long enough to develop feeling that she shouldn't have. So the most rational resolution is to lay down some ground rules, right?
