Twice as Sexy by Carly Phillips (Sexy #2)

🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸

Twice as Sexy is the perfect example of opposites attract! You can't go wrong with any book in this series, and I even love this one more than the first one, which I didn't think was possible (fight me).

This story will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat with the anticipation of what will happen next. The passion between Tanner and Scarlett is red hot from the moment they see each other, and their chemistry is undeniably instant.

When threats and demons from Tanner's past come back to haunt him, Scarlett is forced to decide whether she can trust someone who's past is everything she's come to stand against.

I absolutely loved this book, and it even had a cameo from the Dare family in it! A heart-stopping romance that will keep you entertained and counting down until the next book is released.

 πŸ”₯ Steamy Romance
πŸ™ˆ Suspense

Summary:

He's the bad boy her mother warned her about.

The guy who makes her crave all the naughty things a good girl shouldn't want.

Tanner Grayson is a man outrunning the demons of his past and has the rap sheet to prove it. The only thing keeping old anger in check and him on the straight and narrow are the men he calls brothers and the club he calls home. He has no business taking the sexy woman doing shots in his club upstairs to his bed.

They never should have crossed paths. But when Assistant District Attorney Scarlett Davis lays eyes on the hot as sin club owner, she decides he's the birthday present she wants to unwrap at the end of the evening.

He tells himself it's one night. She convinces herself she deserves a short break from her latest case. But one night isn't enough and soon these two opposites are in deeper than they ever planned.

When Scarlett's case collides with Tanner's past, she sees the dangerous man he's hidden beneath the cool veneer he presents to the world. Can she accept him for who he is? Or will she run from the bad boy who makes her feel so good?

Kiss Me Again by Emma Hart (Kiss Me #3)

πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹

Kiss Me Again will have you laughing til you cry! The best part of the Kiss Me series, is the immense lack of verbal filters that the characters possess, making for a hilarious story every time.

Ava is caught between following what her heart wants, and respecting her brothers friendship with Ethan. Bantering with him has always been the easy way to avoid her feelings, but living in the same apartment means all bets are off.

The war that starts between the two of them will have you reading fast so you can find out the next clever prank they pulled on one another.

This laugh out loud romantic comedy is sure to put a smile on your face and skip in your step. A wonderful addition to the series - it can be read as a stand alone, but it's more enjoyable if you've read the previous books.

πŸ˜‚ Comedy
πŸ’‹ Romance

Summary:
Wanted: ROOMMATE. Must be tidy, polite, and absolutely not my brother's hot as sin best friend.

I have no idea why I said yes.
Maybe I'd had one too many wines. Maybe I'd done it accidentally. Maybe I'd been sleep-texting.

One thing I know for sure is this: I absolutely do not want Ethan Hawkins in my apartment, up in my business, taking over my space.
Yet he's here. Moving his stuff into my spare bedroom. Sending a wave of panty-melting, musky man-scent my way every time he walks past me.

Here's the thing.
We don't get along--at all. We never have, and I don't think we're going to start now that we're under one roof.

There's also that little issue where I'm kinda, sorta, totally in love with him...

Uh-oh.

Roping the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox (Circle B Ranch #1)

πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€

Roping the Cowboy was worth the wait! It was originally featured on the Read Me Romance podcast, so I (painfully) waited to read the finished product until the book was released in it's entirety with the bonus chapters and epilogue.

Falling for the Cowboy is the only book by Kennedy Fox that I haven't read yet, even though I own the paperback and Kindle versions, it's the one I've been saving til I need a book to get me out of a reading rut.

Roping loosely ties in after Falling, but not enough that you couldn't read it as a stand alone. As usual, the occasional appearance of a Bishop family member is a welcome sight to any fan of Kennedy Fox books.

After a one-night stand gone wrong, Kat is forced to see Braxton on a daily basis. Their witty banter takes the next step up, turning into a battle of pranks that quickly escalates out of control.

Roping the Cowboy is a swoon-worthy, quick read! I enjoyed the extended new content and the epilogue is always my favorite part. Kat and Braxton have an undeniable connection, one that makes it even more enjoyable to watch them deny for as long as possible.

πŸ˜„ Comedy
πŸ’‹ Romance

When Katarina shows up at the Circle B Ranch Bed & Breakfast to serve her new gluten-free, sugar-free, organic pastries, Braxton decides to make her life hell for kicking him out the next morning and then pretending he never existed.

First step, make fun of her tasteless muffins. Second step, get revenge.

Soon the duo are at each other's throats, getting even until things go too far and the chemistry burns too hot.

Kat claims their night together meant nothing. He's determined to prove her wrong.
