Good Times by Jiffy Kate (French Quarter Collection #4)

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

This book is the epitome of a good time! Good Times definitely lives up to it's name and I couldn't put it down once I started. Jette and Finn will pull you in and have you devouring every page.

Georgette thought she did what was best for her at the time, even if it meant breaking both their hearts. Now she's forced to see him daily and rekindle the friendship that never died.

Finley is completely swoon-worthy and his patience is to be admired. I loved his character, even if I secretly want to hoard him for myself.

This is an all-around feel good story, with appearances from other characters you know and love. Plenty of laughter and romance to be had, making it my favorite book in the series so far!

**Spoiler alert: NO cheating in this story.

SUMMARY:

Finley Lawson and Georgette Taylor have been best friends since high school. Even though they're from opposite sides of the tracks, they found common ground in their mutual love of the arts and the desire to prove themselves.

They were everything to one another, including being each other's firsts.
Finley assumed they'd be together forever.
Georgette had other plans.

Fast forward five years, Finn and Jette have both moved to New Orleans, unbeknownst to each other, still trying to find their place in the world. They're going to pick back up right where they left off, right? Well, it's not that easy.
Finley has questions, as well as, some pent-up anger and resentment from Jette ghosting him five years ago.

And Georgette has a boyfriend.
What hasn't changed is their deep connection and understanding of each other. Friends are what they agree to be, but some romances deserve a second chance and fate might have other plans.

My Best Friend's Mardi Gras Wedding by Erin Nicholas (Boys of the Bayou #1)

💛💛💛💛💛

Visiting New Orleans during Mardi Gras has just been bumped up to the top 5 on my bucket list! Erin Nicholas knocked this one out of the park and continues to amaze me with her characters.

The author has a way of drawing the reader into the story and making you feel like you're right in the thick of it all. The instant chemistry between the main characters is intense, but believable and heart warming.

The Landry family is filled with such dynamic characters, that the story is worth reading if only just for the entertainment they provide. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Brief Summary:
One hot meeting during Mardi Gras leads to an agreement to meet again, same time the following year.

Josh Landry takes it seriously enough to remain celibate for the entire year, but when Tori Kramer needs him to pretend to be her boyfriend, he's more than all in.
