Chaos Theory by Kelly Anne Blount & Lynn Rush (Twin River High #3)

💛💛💛💛💛

My favorite in the series so far! Chaos Theory starts off with a plot of revenge after being publicly humiliated and having the entire thing go viral.

Corey is such a down-to-earth, genuine guy that you can't help but love him. He's lost his dad to cancer and just wants to honor his memory through his own music. The last thing he expects is to fall for his agent's daughter.

Victoria is at a loss after her boyfriend of two years, dumps her as if she means nothing to him. When Corey shows up for a sanity break, she begs him to help her get revenge and safe face in school.

I loved the fun and playful friendship Corey and Victoria built, especially with those around them. The ability to open up about their pasts and share their hopes for the future created a bond that can't be broken, even when the truth comes out and both their worlds are shattered.

I've enjoyed this series so much. Each of the characters grow and develop with every book, making you wish they could've been your friends in high school. With minimal drama and plenty of laughter, you'll fall in love with Twin River High too!

😄 Comedy

 ðŸ’§ Drama

SUMMARY:

Corey Chaos, teen YouTube sensation, just needs a break from his hectic schedule. Ever since his musical talent was "discovered" by the right person at the right time, his life has been a steady stream of interviews, screaming fans, TV shows, screaming fans, Instagram lives, and did he mention the screaming fans? He'd give anything to be a normal teen again, even for five minutes. So, when his agent suggest staying at his pool house for a month to get away from the stress, Corey is on the next plane to snowy Twin River, Wisconsin.

As soon as he gets there, though, his agent's gorgeous teen daughter, Victoria, asks for his help -- and Corey can't bring himself to say no to her. Not after the video of her boyfriend dumping her in the school cafeteria went viral with its own hashtag, #LunchDump. Ouch. That's not the way you want to get a million views. No one, especially a sweet girl like Victoria, deserves to be treated that way.

But then she tells him about her big plan to get revenge on her ex. And Corey's certain his starring role has chaos written all over it.

Project Personality by Kelly Anne Blount & Lynn Rush (Twin River High #2)

💙💙💙💙💙

So much heart in one story! Project Personality will give you all the feels from start to finish, so many emotional barriers and mountains to climb, my heart broke for these characters.

Hope Chambers is blessedly clueless when it comes to the popular crowd, but the one person who's always been polite to her, is the one guy she needs to guide her for the next two weeks.

Landon Watkins has more of a dark past than anyone knows, but there's something about Hope that draws him in and makes him want to trust her. After losing his Grandma, he starts to fall into old habits and Hope is the light that can pull him out of it.

This story had my heart in it's fist and just kept squeezing, but I hung on to every word. I loved the character development and how they overcome so many obstacles together. Plenty of laughter, getting into trouble and finding genuine friendship - this was the perfect addition to the Twin River High series.

💋 Romance

SUMMARY:

Hope Chambers has a major problem. She's spent the entirety of her four years of high school focusing on being perfect -- perfect grades, perfect extracurriculars, perfect essays -- to the point that she forgot to get a life. And now she's perfectly boring.

She's got exactly two weeks before her admissions interview for MIT to spice up her life and get a personality, dammit. And she knows exactly who can help her: soccer star and Mr. Popularity himself, Landon Watkins. But how does a nerdy, socially awkward girl ask the most charismatic guy in school to help her become interesting?

Saving his life in the school cafeteria is a pretty good start.

No one is more surprised than Hope when Landon agrees to help her. But what he proposes they do takes her so far out of her shell, she's practically in a different ocean. And when she starts falling for the last guy she ever expected to, it has her second-guessing every decision she's ever made...

Gutter Girl by Lynn Rush & Kelly Anne Blount (Twin River High #1)

💛💛💛💛💛

This took me back to high school! Gutter Girl will have you remembering all the reasons you were so glad to be done with the drama of high school, but grateful for the genuine friendships that came out of it.

McKenna is thrust into the limelight, but all she wants is to stay invisible to everyone except her best friend Ernie. She steps up to cover for Jace, even though she has enough on her plate at home (don't get me started on how I feel about her mother!)

Jace Rovers is the popular jock, but if his friends ever discovered that he's the author of the famous Kingdom of Swords, they'd never let him live it down. So he's forced to allow McKenna to pretend on his behalf.

While the two are secretly in cahoots and covering their tracks, they open up to one another and develop a friendship that rivals what seldom few people find.

This YA Romance had me rooting for both the jock and the goth girl, all while wondering when the secrets would be revealed. There was SO much witty banter and great characters, that I was surprised by the ones that stole by heart in the end. Definitely looking forward to more in this series!

Here's a playlist to listen to while you read:

Spotify Playlist for McKenna & Jace

💋 YA Romance

SUMMARY:

Star football player Jace Rovers has a secret. And not just any secret -- a shocking secret... He writes romance. The kind with swords. And dresses. And kissing.

Nobody knows. Not the other kids at Twin River High. Not his overbearing parents. And certainly not the millions of fans who've read his book on the writing platform Scribbles. And that's the way he plans to keep it.

Except suddenly one of the other football players grabs his notebook in jest and starts reading a kissing scene out loud...and Jace knows he's busted.

But then McKenna Storm, resident goth girl who avoids the spotlight like a virus, snatches up the notebook and tells everyone she's the author. And lucky for Jace, she later agrees to continue the ruse...for a price.

Heck, he'd give her anything not to reveal his secret. But when they start to fall for each other, he knows he'll have to keep the biggest secret of all -- his darkest character is based on her...

Lessons from a One-Night Stand by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #1)

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Be still my heart! Lessons from a One-Night Stand is by far, my favorite book by the fabulous duo of Piper Rayne. The first book in a new series about the Bailey family, will invite you to pull up a seat and join in on the fun.

Austin Bailey gave up his dream at the young age of 21 when his parents were killed, leaving his younger siblings in need of a parental figure. Fast forward 9 years and he's finally able to pursue his dream of being a collegiate baseball coach, but what he doesn't expect is the one-night stand he had, to rock his world as the new principal.

Sparks fly and the last thing Holly Radcliffe wants is to be the center of gossip in a town where she's trying to start fresh, all while dealing with family troubles of her own.

This story was filled with laughter, romance, family drama and enough steam to cook a lobster! I can't wait for more books in The Baileys series, as this is one remarkable family (and town) that you'll want to revisit again and again.
