Bad Liar by Lauren Rowe (The Reed Rivers Trilogy #1)

💋💋💋💋💋

Bad Liar is the most I've enjoyed despising a character! Such a wonderful start to a new trilogy, I'm counting down the days until the next one releases.

Reed Rivers is hard-headed and a bit cruel, but for good reason and purpose. He's one of those guys that you hate to love, yet you fall for them anyway. You'll even walk away with a new appreciation for negotiating, lol.

Georgie was a refreshing surprise! I adore her confidence and sassy nature. The banter between these two will have you laughing and fanning your face through the entire book.

It's worth signing up for Kindle Unlimited just for the three books in this series alone! Don't miss out on this story, I guarantee it'll be one you revisit again and again.

🔥 Steamy Romance

Summary:

Swallowing lies has never felt so good.

Reed freaking Rivers. I wouldn't trust a word out of the arrogant music mogul's mouth if his gold-plated tongue were notarized. The Man with the Midas Touch would say anything to get me into his bed, and I know it. But that doesn't mean I don't want him to succeed.

Indeed, the moment I laid eyes on Reed while he was speaking at an on-campus event I'd crashed, my body physically ached to feel his golden fingers -- and tongue -- all over me.

Unfortunately though, I cant give into my powerful craving to jump Reed's cocky bones. Not until I've figured out my best strategy with him...

The truth is Reed has something I desperately want. Something my heart desires even more than my body craves one night of delicious fun with the yummiest man alive. Reed assumes he's running this game of seduction. He thinks he's a thirty-four-year old big cat on the prowl, and I'm nothing but a blushing twenty-one-year old field mouse with stars in my eyes.

Yeah...no.

As Reed is about to find out, he's not the only cat on the hunt in this game of cat-and-mouse...

Fallen Saint by Monica James (All The Pretty Things Trilogy #2)

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Nothing can prepare you for Fallen Saint! I didn't think anything could top Bad Saint, but man was I wrong. Monica James brings the intensity to a whole new level, leaving you breathless and wanting more.

Now that Alek is in the picture, all bets are off and the rules have changed. Part of you will want to trust him and believe that he truly cares for Willow, but then you see how he treats others and the doubt fills you again. I found myself falling for him, while waiting for the other shoe to drop...

Saint and Willow must hide their feelings, as it would be used against them and possibly result in their deaths. The one thing that Willow treasures, may be the only thing that can save her life.

Dark, twisted characters that will make you want to lock up your daughter and keep her safe. The hardest part is never knowing who is a friend or foe.

Saint is still the ever-brooding heart breaker, but I wouldn't change a single thing about him. I do love that we get a deeper look into his feelings, but now I just want to read Bad Saint again, to match up certain events.

I'm hoping Willow will have the chance for revenge against her husband in the final book. She's grown in to such a fighter, willing to do anything for those she cares about.

A sweet torture, that is the epitome of dark romance - Fallen Saint will hold you hostage until the final page, and even then your mind will keep thinking of possible outcomes. This trilogy is one of the best in this genre, and one I'll definitely come back to revisit.

Summary:
Just as this nightmare began, I once again find myself bound, destination unknown. However, this time, my kidnapper is the man who shattered my world beyond repair.

Aleksei Popov - Russia's number one mobster, and the man I was sold to.

His intentions for me are clear - submit, obey him, and call him master - but I won't surrender. I'm not like the other girls. Whether that's a blessing or curse, I've yet to decide. The problem is, my disobedience intrigues my captor all the more.

When we arrive in Russia, the rules change.

Saint, the man who was once a sinner, is my only salvation. What was forbidden now gives me hope that there is light in the darkness. He will risk everything to set me free.

But behind these opulent walls, things aren't what they seem, and when the fine line between pleasure and pain begins to blur, only one thing matters - saving my soul.

I will lie.
Cheat.
Steal.

I was once an angel, but now...I'm a fallen saint, ready to inflict my own pain and burn this hellhole to the ground.

Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier (Ruby Red Trilogy #1)

💗💗💗💗💗

The first book in the Ruby Red Trilogy introduces you to Gwyneth Shepherd. She was raised her entire life to believe that it would one day be her cousin Charlotte, who would have the ability to travel in time. One day she's shocked to discover that her mother lied about her birth date so nobody would suspect it was Gwyneth, enabling her to have a normal childhood.

After the family discovers the truth, Gwyneth is surrounded by skeptism, hurt and lies - and that's just within her family. She is then forced to work with Gideon, another time traveler, to learn what she needs to know before venturing into the unknown.

As Gideon and Gwyneth travel back in time, they start to discover that perhaps they haven't been everything and there are some secrets left to uncover. Not to mention a creepy count and family members that have escaped permanently into the past.

I haven't ventured into the YA world in a few years, so add in the Fantasy elements and I was hesitant to start this series (only because it's out of my norm). It was recommended by a friend of mine and my only regret is not starting it sooner!

I purchased the audiobook when she told me about the series, but I kept putting it off for other books. One day I was in a rut and needed something new, so I started this at work and didn't stop listening until the end. I immediately bought the rest of the series and the boxed paperback set!

Ruby Red is my favorite surprise read of 2018! With several mysteries to unravel, time travel aspects, family dynamics and more, you'll be captivated from the first page and drawn in to this stellar novel. I can't say this enough - EVERYONE should read this series!

Fighting Irish by Katy Regnery (The Summerhaven Trio #1)

💚💚💚💚💚

Brittany Manion has suffered heartbreak from not one, but two, men - leaving her to rediscover the one place that she spent the most memorable summers of her life. While there, she realizes her dreams are achievable, she just needs to trust her heart.

Rory Haven just might be the one to make her dreams come true, since he's been harboring a teenage crush on Brittany that he was never allowed to act on while growing up. Taking over his families business after his mother's stroke, he put his own dreams on hold, but he can't possibly pursue someone of her caliber without having something substantial to offer her....

An amazing story of overcoming heartache and finding the person that allows you to be yourself. I love the strong, Irish dynamic of the Haven siblings. Their unfailing support of each other is refreshing and definitely the backbone of The Summerhaven Trio books. Looking forward to the next two in the series!
