To Catch a Dream by Audrey Carlan (Wish #2)

💙💙💙💙💙

A beautifully heartbreaking addition to the series! To Catch a Dream dives even deeper into the lives of Evie and Suda Kaye, leaving you counting down the days until the next book in the Wish series.

Evie Ross is the girl you just want to embrace and make an honorary member of your family. She feels as though everyone leaves her eventually, and she's not worth anyone staying around for.

When tragedy strikes, it brings up feelings that were once buried, leaving even more uncertainty in its wake.

The Wish series has my whole heart and I'm so thankful to be taken on such an amazing journey of love, loss and sisterhood. Audrey Carlan is a writing goddess, who knows just how to pull my heartstrings, and I always ask for more!

SUMMARY:

When their mother passed away, Evie Ross and her sister were each given a stack of letters, one to be opened every year on their birthday; letters their free-spirited mother hoped would inspire and guide them through adulthood. But although Evie has made a successful career, her desire for the stability and security she never had from her parents has meant she's never experienced the best life has to offer. But the discovery of more letters hidden in a safe-deposit box points to secrets her mother held close, and possibly a new way for Evie to think about her family, her heart and her dreams.

Wild Child by Audrey Carlan (Soul Sister #1)

💜💜💜💜💜

A suspenseful romance that'll leave you breathless! Wild Child will steal your heart from the first chapter and you won't get it back in one piece.

When tragedy strikes Simone, her family rallies around her, offering their strength and support while the hunt for a killer continues. To what lengths will she go to keep her family safe, and how many innocent lives will be lost along the way?

My heart shattered a little with this book, but I'd do it all over again if I could. Audrey Carlan draws you in to the lives of foster sisters who are closer than blood, and makes you want to envelop them all in one ginormous hug to protect them.

What an amazing start to yet another great series! I'm still reeling from the story even days later, but immediately ordered the paperback so I can make my BFF read it as well. Filled with romance, drama, suspense and a little family humor, I know you'll fall in love with this story too!

SUMMARY:

Twice my life changed in a single day.

The first was when I lost my parents. Hand in hand I walked with my big sister up the steps of Kerrighan House, a foster home for girls. We were lucky to be met with open arms and a house filled with children just like us. Children who'd lost everything. From that day forward, we were raised as one big family. Our bonds of sisterhood were strengthened through shared experience, pain, sacrifice, and love. Sisters not by blood, but by choice.

Soul sisters.

The second day my life changed was on the worst day of my adult life. My boyfriend broke up with me via text. My sleazy boss hit on me, forcing me to quit my job I desperately needed. And the cherry on top, was getting pulled over by an FBI Agent. Little did I know, he'd also save my life that night.

From the moment we met, Agent Fontaine wouldn't dare let me out of his sight. And between his alpha ways, kind brown eyes, and heroism, I was lost to the man who hid behind his job. But this agent had a rule: never fall for a woman you've saved.

Yet I wasn't just any woman. I was known among my sisters for taking risks and dreaming big. I was the wild child of the group. We were raised to appreciate every day as the gift it was, and not let anything stand in our way. The more I got to know the brooding, serious FBI man, the more I realized maybe it was my duty to save him.

What the Heart Wants by Audrey Carlan (Wish #1)

❤❤❤❤

A beautifully woven tale of love and discovery! What the Heart Wants broke my heart, multiple times, but with any Audrey Carlan story, I had faith in the journey. She's truly the only author that make me shed cathartic tears and come back for more.

Suda Kaye and Evie are left with letters from their mother after she passes away. Not wanting to have regrets in life, Suda Kaye follows her Mom's advice to Fly Free and leaves behind the only man she's ever truly loved.

I literally felt pain in my chest for Cam. The fact that he's always wondered if he did something wrong to make her leave so suddenly, or if he somehow hurt her the night they shared something special. He will forever have my heart!

It showed more courage and strength for Suda Kaye to come home and face those she hurt when she disappeared. Although most everyone welcomed her back with open arms, there are a few people that still kept their distance, afraid she'll leave again.

This has been my favorite book of 2020 and I've read it twice within the last week. Such a poignant and emotional story that will inspire you to not take a second for granted, love with all your heart and follow your dreams. I can't wait for Evie's story next!

SUMMARY:

"Fly free."

For ten years those words, written on pink parchment paper in her mother's beautiful handwriting, have been Suda Kaye Ross's guiding star. Every year on her birthday, Suda Kaye opens another of the letters her mother penned before she passed, heeding the advice inside as she fills her life with experiences. From Italy to Australia, from Rio to Russia, she's slaked her wanderlust. And then, on her twenty-eighth birthday, she opens the letter that sends her home.

Returning to Colorado means confronting everything -- and everyone -- she left behind, including her cherished sister, Evie, and her first love, Camden Bryant. Suda Kaye and Cam spent four years and one unforgettable night together. Given the way she ran out on him, it's no surprise that he's wary, resentful...and engaged to someone else. Evie, hardworking and uberresponsible, just wants her sister to put down roots at last.

For Evie's sake, and her own, Suda Kaye is trying to build a new life, all the while wondering whether it's too late to come back home -- or if the most important part of her never really left.

Biker Babe by Audrey Carlan (Biker Beauties #1)

❤❤❤❤❤

Biker Babe is breathtaking ride! It's perfect for anyone that loves strong female lead characters, and the biker gang doesn't hurt either.

Shay is the club Princess, meaning they'd do anything to protect her and keep her safe...including from their new Vice President - Rex.

Rex knows that the daughter of the President is off limits, but he knew from the moment he saw her that she was it for him.

As Rex and Shay deal with a threat from her past, they must also decide whether their chemistry is risk pursuing, especially with the wrath of her biker family ready to defend her honor.

This was a wonderful start to a new series by the amazing Audrey Carlan and can be read as a stand alone. This is definitely a must-read and I can't wait for more in the series!

Blurb

Princess. That’s what the club calls me. I’m not frilly, into pink, or expect a man to woo me with chocolates and flowers. I don’t need candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach.

I’m not the girl you take home to your parents. I like wild, fun, and good times. I’m the kind of girl you put on the back of your bike and ride through the night…in more ways than one.

I like the wind in my hair and the open road before me. I was born a biker princess and I’ll be one until the day I die. The man in my life can try to tame me, but he’ll have one hell of a fight on his hands. Though if he wins, he’ll get the ultimate prize…all of me. Devoted. His old lady through thick and thin.

So when I opened my store, aptly named Biker Babe, I didn’t expect to have the biggest, sexiest, most jaw-dropping man walk into my shop and set my world on fire. I wanted him instantly. Only problem, my father is the president of the Hero’s Pride MC, and Taggart “Rex” Crawford is his new Vice President.

Our Pride likes to live wild and ride free but everyone knows the President’s daughter is off limits.

The Biker Beauties are a collection of interconnected standalone novellas. They can be read out of order if desired. They are high in heat, but don’t forget the sweet.

Intimate Intuition by Audrey Carlan (Lotus House #6)

💜💜💜💜💜

In this sixth installment of the Lotus House series, you learn more about Silas McKnight. The handsome owner of Knight & Day productions, who has built up a wall to protect him from enduring the kind of pain he's already had to suffer in life.

Dara Jackson is one of the instructors at Lotus House Yoga, while also running Sunflower Bakery next door. After a one-night stand, where the morning after goes horribly wrong, Dara wants to just forget it ever happened and move on with her life.

Fortunately, Fate has other plans...

As in typical Audrey Carlan fashion, this book will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride, that you won't soon forget. I literally couldn't stop reading this book, so I had to resort to having my Kindle read to me (in it's horrible monotone voice), while I was at work and during my commute.

Be prepared to laugh, cry, yell and hug those close to you. I LOVED Intimate Intuition and it's probably my favorite one in the series so far - which I feel like I always say, but they just get better (impossible, I know).

The characters have amazing chemistry, and I love how the story still weaves former characters back into their lives, so it's like you're always surrounded by friends. Dara is incredibly strong, loving and doesn't take any crap from anyone. The story of loss is handled beautifully, even if I did shed more than a few tears over it. A wonderful story in a truly spectacular series!

Silent Sins by Audrey Carlan (Lotus House #5)

💜💜💜💜💜

Absolutely phenomenal! First let me put out a warning before you read any of Audrey's books...once you start, say goodbye to your plans. She has a way of drawing you into the soul of the main character, and with Honor, it's no different. I found myself crying with the character as she went through her struggles, and my heart physically hurt whenever she was suffering.

Another heart-wrenching, soul-searching addition to the Lotus House series. These can be read as a stand alone, but you'll enjoy them more if you read the series in order, since it brings in previous characters. I loved this story and hope it brings to light some of the real problems the world is facing right now, even if most people are hiding their painful journeys.

I always feel so inspired after reading a book in this series, and ready to take on the world. The variant of emotions that you'll go on with Honor, will have you laughing, crying and even wanting to pull your hair out. I can literally NEVER put any of her books down once I've read the first chapter. That's how quickly you fall in love and relate on such a personal level with the main character. Go. Read this book. Now.

Fate by Audrey Carlan (Trinity #5)

Every book in this series has captured my heart, and taken me on an emotional roller coaster ride. Watching Kat push away the one person she loves more than anything, only to have him self-destruct is a painfully, beautiful journey...one that only the lovely Audrey Carlan can take you on. I loved this story, and couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it, whether you've read any of the Trinity series or not!

Life (Trinity #4) by Audrey Carlan

First, can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the cover is? This is the fourth book in the Trinity series, and undoubtedly the best one yet! Maria's story will rip your heart out, make you reach for the ice cream and tissues, but leave you thankful that you went through the experience.

Maria is faced with obstacles, but chooses to overcome them, and not let it define who SHE is. This book has changed my outlook on things, and is so beautifully written, I'm crying just writing the review.

Audrey Carlan is an amazing story-teller. Her journeys will put you through the ringer sometimes, but it's always worth it, and you're left feeling stronger somehow. I loved this book, and plan on starting over this weekend to read all 4 again. A beautiful story, just be prepared with lots of soft tissues!
