Logan & Kayla - my favorite couple in the series! This is Dangerous will take you on the ride of your life.

Literally every time I start a new Kennedy Fox book, I remind myself how amazing they are at cliffhangers and that I should really wait until the second part of the Duet is out...but no, it's impossible to resist one of their books, and Logan & Kayla's story is the best one yet! Just when I think I'm emotionally prepared for what the writers have up their sleeve...think again.

Kayla is my favorite character out of all 3 couples, and my God does Logan have my heart. I've been waiting for their love story since day one, and it was very much worth the wait. Love, love, loved it...but damn it all, I can't handle the endings!!!

Lia Langola always does such a fantastic job with bringing the characters to life in the audiobooks, making the reader feel all the emotions as they listen to the story unfold.

SUMMARY:

Logan Knight is a real life knight in shining armor. A detective godsend in a sleek black suit has me thinking less than secretive thoughts. Brooding and mysterious, he's the kind of guy every girl instantly notices. Between his seductive smirk and charming good looks, it's no wonder I can't help the way he makes me feel whenever I'm near him. Too bad he's unavailable -- or so he says.

He thinks I'm a do-gooder who shouldn't get involved with a guy like him. His past is messy and relationships just add to that. He insists the timing is all wrong and he's devoted to his career, but I don't buy that excuse for a second. I see the way his body tenses and his jaw ticks every time another guy is around me. He just won't admit it, but I'm more determined than ever to show him what he's missing.

I'm a devoted animal rescuer and I'll risk everything to save them, but when a dramatic turn of events puts both our lives at risk, I'm positive Logan will write me off for good. But when he asks for my help with a personal crisis, I know it's my last chance to finally show him I can handle anything he throws my way -- messy past and all.

He might think he has me all figured out, but I'll prove him wrong no matter what he thinks. This game of push and pull has me running in circles. One wrong move and we could both lose.

Checkmate: This is Reckless by Kennedy Fox

**Warning - NOT for the faint of heart! If you hate cliffhangers, wait for the conclusion (I don't have that much patience.) This is technically the 3rd book in the series, but you can read this one as a stand-alone. I recommend reading the first two, so you'll be more involved with the characters and their history. I laughed SO hard at times, and my cheeks still hurt. The ending through me for a loop and I'm already counting down the days until the next book releases!

Courtney has been in love with her best friend Viola's brother, Drew for the longest time, but she's never acted on it since she had a boyfriend since High School. Now that she's a free woman, Drew has put her in the "friend corner". The chemistry is unreal between the two main characters, and I love how strong Courtney is. Drew is a sweetheart, who needs to take off the blinders when it comes to his ex-wanker, Mia. Don't get annoyed with him, it takes him a while to see the light, but I promise it's worth it!

I loved this book and highly recommend it, as well as the entire series! I couldn't put it down, but it was well worth the lack of sleep. The writing duo is amazing, and the fact that they dedicated the book to Benita (the owner of Book Beau) made me cry on the friggin dedication page. Her product is a life-changer if you're a book reader! Her customer service and attention to detail is unsurpassed.
