My One Week Husband by Lauren Blakely

💛💛💛💛💛

One trip might change your life! My One Week Husband was a whirlwind of emotions that I was not fully prepared for.

Daniel Stewart has lost everything he loves: his parents and his musical aspirations. He's lusted after his business partner since the day they met, but a week-long trip might just be the push he needs to explore his feelings.

Scarlett Slade lost her husband suddenly, followed by the ultimate betrayal, leading her to never want another serious relationship. When the flames become more than they can take and the fake relationship suddenly starts to feel real, she's left questioning if it's worth the risk. Giving into a mutual attraction, Daniel and Scarlett grow closer, both physically and emotionally.

While helping each other overcome their pasts that continuously haunt them, they're forced to see what kind of life they're missing out on by not taking risks. All the feels were given in this book and I'd gladly read it again in a heartbeat!

SUMMARY:

A week-long trip. A fake marriage. And seven delicious nights with only one bed in the hotel room.

He's my business partner, good friend, and the man I've craved for years.

But I've resisted the sexy Brit, and I plan to keep up my walls because I've been there, done that, and I know how much it hurts when you let someone into your heart.

Then an opportunity comes along for us to snag the business deal of a lifetime.

The catch?

We need to pretend we're married to pull of this high-stakes deal.

So the clever, charming man with secrets a mile deep becomes my temporary husband, as we travel around Europe. Soon, we fall into bed, tangled together like newlyweds who can't keep their hands off each other.

One week to explore our fantasies, then we return to who we were.

But when I learn the dark secrets he's been keeping, I doubt we can go back.

Because they change everything.

The Wild One by Ruth Cardello (Corisi Billionaires #2)

💙💙💙💙

The Wild One will have you booking a flight to Paris! This is the second book in the Corisi Billionaires series, and I love how it's a story about the two main characters, but there's still that underlying mystery that's been continuing from the first book...so if you haven't read The Broken One, you'll definitely should before diving into this one.

Wren Heath wants an escape from her boring, stagnant life - so when she meets up with an old friend in Paris, she decides to throw caution to the wind and spend a glorious week with Mauricio Romano.

When the two part ways, under stressful circumstances, they're both forced to realize the extent of what their time together really meant to them.

I adore stories involving self-proclaimed bachelors, who are adamant they'll never change their ways. The best part of the story is by far the Romano family. Their family dynamic are what goals are made of, not to mention how they love to meddle.

This was a wonderful addition to the series, and I'm looking forward to more. Hopefully with more answers about the bigger picture that we keep getting glimpses of in each book!
