The Dream Guy Next Door by Lauren Blakely (The Guys Who Got Away #1)

❤❤❤❤

Definitely listen to this on Audible! The Dream Guy Next Door is a cute romance between two single parents looking for the right person to spend their happily ever after with.

Liam wants to settle down, find Mrs. Right and have more children since he missed out on the opportunity to be a part of the first six years of his sons life.

January is happy with her life and doesn't want to start the parenting cycle over again, but when her feelings grow for Liam, she has to decide what she's truly willing to sacrifice to be happy.

I'd listen to the audiobook on a weekly basis just to hear Shane East's british accent. I always enjoy a good matchmaking-gone-wrong story, especially when it makes me laugh so hard my cheeks hurt.

💋 Romance

SUMMARY:

Just my luck - my new next door neighbor is a unicorn. Yep, the British hottie is clearly a mythical man because - get this - he's a sexy, witty, charming, big-hearted single dad. Who, wait for it, wants to find Mrs. Right and get hitched. He's a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of man, and it's a darn shame I'm not on the market. If I were, his accent alone would melt me. Add in the fact that he's a veterinarian, and my animal-loving heart would be flip flopping.

But my heart's on the mend. I'm a single parent like him, and raising my teenage daughter is my top priority. Plus, falling for a guy who shares your property line is a line you shouldn't cross.

Still, I'm an outgoing gal, so I do the neighborly thing and offer to be his dating insider.

Surely, I can help this small town's most eligible bachelor ever navigate his way through all the fantastic single ladies eager to make his acquaintance.

What could possibly go wrong in helping the dream guy next door find his one true love?

So I set him up on one date, two dates, three dates -- and I'm about to find out exactly how dangerous my offer is.

The Stud Next Door by Kendall Ryan (Frisky Business #3)

💛💛💛💛💛

Single dad lovers rejoice! The Stud Next Door is a wonderful addition to the Frisky Business series that'll have your ovaries swooning.

I love the banter between Connor and his friends, who are always ready to keep him in check. The playful ribbing they constantly give him to take a chance and put himself out there is hilarious, especially once he decides to follow their advice.

Jessa has completely different plans for her future...ones that don't involve a handsome neighbor and his precocious daughter. But what's the point of life if you don't follow your heart and live in the moment, even if you know it can't last?

This is the 3rd book in the Frisky Business series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone. If you love a hot, single dad with an adorable baby that will melt your heart, you've found your next favorite read!

😄 Comedy

💋 Romance

SUMMARY:

Life threw me a curveball. An adorable eight-pound, four-ounce curveball with her mother's eyes and my dark hair. I'd like to think my single-dad game is strong, but honestly? I've been struggling a little.

When a beautiful young woman moves in next door and offers to give me a hand, I jump at the chance to hire her as a nanny. Jessa is amazing with my daughter. She's also patient, kind, and way too pretty.

The number one rule of hiring a nanny? Don't bed the nanny.

It's a rule I intend to keep.

But as the days pass, I begin to realize how much my life is missing. Companionship. Romance. Intimacy. When I discover my heart has space for one more female, it's a lost cause, another curveball. The hot-as-hell nanny is leaving soon for a mission trip to Central America. No sense in letting myself fantasize about Jessa being a permanent part of my life.

The closer we get, the more difficult it becomes to keep my feelings in check, because my heart won't listen. And neither will my libido.

Well, you know what they say. Rules are meant to be broken...

Loathe Thy Neighbor by Teagan Hunter (Roommate Romps #1)

❤❤❤❤❤

The perfect RomCom to brighten your day! Loathe Thy Neighbor is a hilarious enemies to lovers story that will make you laugh until you cry.

From the first time you encounter River and Dean, you know you're in for a wild ride. They are the perfect example of what witty banter should be, especially when you throw an innocent child in as a bystander.

A mutual hatred that was formed due to a lack of communication, circles around a weekly battle over cherry pie. Through a series of circumstances, these two unlikely enemies are forced to reside under the same roof, with their cat and turtle, trying not to murder each other.

If this first book in the new series is a sign of what's to come, then I'll be pre-ordering the rest as soon as they're available. I haven't laughed this hard in a while, so it was a refreshing and genuine romantic comedy that I would gladly read again and again!

SUMMARY:

Don't fall for your enemy...especially when he's your new roommate.

Dean Evans is the worst.
Not only does the devil in disguise steal my pie on a regular basis, he also lives in the apartment right. Next. Door.
I see him all the time. At the mailboxes. In the elevator. Every single morning.
It's exhausting because he's exhausting.

Now, after setting his apartment on fire, he's my roommate...and he's the worst at that too.

I don't know what possessed me to let him stay with me. Pity, perhaps?
I do know that I won't be falling for his charm.
Or that panty-dropping smirk.
His quick wit.
That body he works so hard for.

Nope. Not falling for any of it...least of all him.

There might be a fine line between love and hate, but I know exactly where I stand.

Bastard Bachelor Society by Sara Ney (The Bachelors Club #1)

💙💙💙💙💙

Bastard Bachelor Society is another hit for Sara Ney! She has the perfect way of making you hate the main character, then fall madly in love with him by the end of the book. (So if I fall for some cad in real life, I'm totally blaming the author, lol.)

Brooks and Abbott both put each other in the friend zone, so all kinds of trouble develop while they try to resist the obvious chemistry. I love when the characters almost despise each other, then the relationship turns into a friendship that has you wanting more...even though you don't think it'll work out.

Nan is the meddling grandmother, who will have you laughing out loud with her antics. Desi is the very opinionated, but lovable cat, and I love that he gets his own POV chapters as well!

This is definitely one you don't want to miss, and a one-click recommendation from me. If you're looking for a great romantic comedy, this needs to be your next read!

😂 Comedy
💋 Romance

Summary:

What is the Bastard Bachelor Society?

It's a gentleman's club -- like the dignified men of the past used to have.

Except, we're not gentleman, and we're not dignified.

We're ineligible bachelors; bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually...

We're so committed to being single, we've created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest. Rules are involved. Prizes.

Laugh it up, but I'm no loser.

Enemy number one to my single status? My irresistible neighbor, Abbott Margolis. She with her evil cat Desdemona, and Sexy AF pencil skirts. She's kind and beautiful and hilarious. We can't get involved, no matter how much her meddling grandmother pushes us together. But if I was going to lose this bet for anyone? It would be for Abbott.

Let's face facts: I'm a bastard, unwilling to settle down. Especially when there's a bet to win.
