Follow Me Darkly by Helen Hardt (Follow Me #1)

❤❤❤❤❤

I'm enamored with this series! Follow Me Darkly will captivate you and keep you entertained from start to finish. This book will leave you breathless and counting down the days until the next release.

I loved Skye's character, especially the chance to watch her grow into a strong, confident woman. Getting a sneek peak behind the scenes into the life of an influencer was fun and made me glad I'm not in the spotlight.

Braden is a mystery that you'll constantly be trying to figure out. You'll be torn between what some people will only hint at, and what your gut is trying to tell you. I love how he is with Skye and is prompt to put people in their place.

Skye and Braden both have their secrets, but the journey from acquaintances to more will have you turning the pages as fast as you can read. I enjoyed everything about this book and can't wait until the next installment release. This will definitely be a series I revisit often!

SUMMARY:

I've always been a control freak. But he makes me crave submission...

Working for a hotel heiress and social media influencer may not be my dream job, but at least it allows me time to do what I really love -- take photographs. Pretty good for a wholesome farm girl from Kansas trying to make it in Boston. Life may not be easy working for a diva, but at least I know what to expect.

Until blue-collar billionaire Braden Black strides into the office. He's beyond handsome and sexy, but also domineering with a definite hard edge. I'm not sure why he's interested in me, but within a few weeks, he's showing me a world I never knew existed.

He's opened up a side of me I can face in the dark, and it's quickly becoming an obsession. How can I give up something this addictive -- even if his secrets could ultimately destroy me?

Loving Miss Sassy by A.M. Madden & Joanne Schwehm (Mr. Wrong #5)

❤❤❤❤❤

Loving Miss Sassy is an entertaining battle of wits! I especially loved the comparison of old-school presentations versus the influencer craze that is so popular lately.

Gianna Benedetto is a sassy, take charge influencer who works hard to achieve the status level she's at. She was also raised with over-protective brothers, so she's not afraid of the hot, single guy that is suddenly her competition and roommate.

Colton Teller wants the job and Gianna, but with a crazy ex-girlfriend in the mix, he gets far more than he bargained for.

This was a wonderful story, with plenty of romance, a character that makes you want to kill someone, also mixed with laughter. I highly enjoyed the deeper look into what it takes to be an influencer.

While this can be read as a stand along, I'm definitely going back to read the entire Mr. Wrong series to see how the other characters got their happy endings!

Summary:

I am sure of four things:
I’m the most sought-after social influencer. I’m prepared to kick ass and take names.
I’m going to conquer the Big Apple.
I wasn’t prepared to have an unexpected roommate who happens to be drop-dead gorgeous.

Being the younger sister of two overprotective brothers taught me to be tenacious. Granted, that didn’t fare well when I mistook my roomie for an intruder. Fine, maybe a right hook wasn’t the most ladylike greeting, but his black eye only lasted a week. How was I supposed to know said intruder was also my advertising adversary?

The answer: I didn’t.

And having a single wall separating our bedrooms only adds more angst to my list. I’m sure I’ll never get a good night’s rest wondering if he sleeps commando...if those are moans I hear or snores...if he imagines me in his bed as I imagine him in mine.

The list goes on and on.

The most shocking thing I wasn’t prepared for was how he managed to capture my heart . . . right before he shattered it.

He called me Miss Sassy, and I proved him right.
