Cheesy on the Eyes by Teagan Hunter (Slice #5)

🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

A romantic comedy to satisfy your sweet tooth! Cheesy on the Eyes is the first book in this series that had me craving dessert pizza instead of the regular greasy goodness.

Thea is the girl you want to get her happily ever after, since she's been dumped and told she wasn't enough by her ex-pig of a boyfriend. I have the hugest girl crush on her - she's such a badass and does what she wants.

Enter the handsome stranger Sully, who comes to her rescue...only it doesn't stop there, they soon come to an agreement to have a fake relationship until her brother's wedding.

This is most definitely my favorite book in the series so far! The unfiltered banter between ALL of the characters will have you roaring with laughter. Previous characters that you already know and love from earlier books in the series make plenty of appearances throughout as well.

I promise you'll be craving sweets and smiling so much by the end, that your cheeks will hurt! Absolutely loved this one and it's a must read for any fans of romantic comedy.

SUMMARY:

Dating is hard. Dating in a small town? Impossible.

Leave it to my little brother to come back home announcing he knocked up his fiancee and the wedding has been moved...to next month.

When he tries to set me up with one of his football buddies, I tell him I'll be bringing my own plus-one.

Only problem? I'm hopelessly single.

Enter Sullivan Scott, AKA my hero.

We strike a deal: he'll pretend to be my boyfriend, and I'll use my mechanic skills to help him fix his boat. That's it. No funny business, and definitely no feelings involved.

Sully's quiet and reserved, and I've been told I'm too much to handle on a good day. We're opposites, and neither of us is looking for anything serious.

I'm certain we can keep this strictly platonic...

An Unexpected Christmas by Shannon Richard (Taking the Shot - Book 1)

💝💝💝💝💝

After her boyfriend is caught cheating and it's plastered all over social media, the idea of going home for the holidays is the last thing Adele James wants. She sneaks away to the family cabin without telling anyone, which is why she ends up being snowed in with long-time friend of the family, Jace Kilpatrick (not to mention the guy she's had a crush on for years).

I enjoyed this holiday romance immensely! It definitely got me in the Christmas spirit and I especially loved all the antics with Adele's dog, Katie. There's plenty of romance, comedy and a little bit of drama. I highly recommend this one!

Tailor Made by Tasha Lewis

💛💛💛💛

A delightful romance from debut author Tasha Lewis! Mason and Rayleigh are both charming characters who come from tragic pasts, but find that special connection with one another.

The concept of "Tailor Made" dates is something I believe everyone would enjoy in reality! I love how open and honest the characters are with each other from the first date.

The way Mason provides for his sister and watches over her, makes you fall for him immediately. He's not the cocky, arrogant character I expected him to be, and that was a pleasant surprise.

This was a creative first release for the author and I've been SO excited about it for months. I'm looking forward to her next project and will be visiting this story again in the future!
