Take A Number by Amy Daws

❤❤❤❤❤

Sweet and sassy, just how I like it! Take A Number will leave you with a sweet tooth and sore cheeks from laughing so much. Amy Daws is the queen of RomCom's and never fails to keep me highly entertained!

Norah's mother is a piece of work, so the lengths she'd go to in order to appease her and put a stop to her matchmaking schemes is completely understandable.

Dean is the typical heartbreaker, only looking for the next one night stand and nothing serious. He's the guy that you wish would change his ways for you, but knowingly, will only break your heart along the way.

While this can be read as a stand alone, it's more enjoyable if read in the series order, since the side characters make frequent appearances. Yet another delightful release in a great series and I'll definitely read it again when it's in audio format as well!

😄 Comedy

💋 Romance

SUMMARY:

Norah Donahue wants bakeries not babies, but her meddling mother has other plans. So when Nate, a blast from her past, moves back into town, Norah's mother goes into full-blown Cupid mode.

Dean Moser is Boulder's infamous mountain manwhore. He's a stock market savant who thinks investing in a local bakery franchise famous for croinuts is his next big business move. The fact that the bakery owner is easy on the eyes is just icing on the donut.

When Norah needs a date for her parent's anniversary party and Dean needs a date for his best friend's wedding, the two decide to turn their business deal into something that can help them both out of a bind: Fake Dating.

The only problem? Highly flammable chemistry.

Dean doesn't do serious and Norah only wants a bakery empire, but maybe they can have their croinut and eat it too.

Baking Me Crazy by Karla Sorensen (Donner Bakery #1)

🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

Baking Me Crazy is the perfect craving for a sweet tooth! This delightfully funny "friends to lovers" story will have your cheeks hurting from smiling so hard.

The exact blend of comedy and romance, with a slow burn leaving you in the friend zone, will have you hooked from the start. The characters will win your heart and have you not wanting the story to end.

This was my first Karla Sorensen book, but I immediately bought it in paperback when I was only a few chapters in. A wonderful start to the Donner Bakery series and I can't wait for more (and more cameos!)

😂 Comedy
💋 Romance

Summary:
I'm Levi Buchanan, and until five years ago, I thought the legend of my family's curse was a load of crazy, Southern nonsense.

No curse can make you fall in love at first sight. No curse can force a true, deep, passionate, all-consuming love that will haunt you all the days of your life.

Then I met Jocelyn Abernathy and I realized how completely wrong I was.

The problem is, Jocelyn guards her feelings like well-armed soldier. She's the most beautiful, stubborn, infuriating woman I've ever met. Every time she talks, I want to kiss the living daylights out of her. But I can't.

Because when we met, she didn't need true love. She needed a best friend. And that's what I've been to her... for five years.

But when Jocelyn meets a handsome stranger her first day working at Donner Bakery and she lets him buy her a dill pickle cupcake, I realize with ominous regret that I may have missed my window with my best friend.

If I can't get her to see past our friendship, my new curse may be to watch the love of my life move on with someone else.
