Good to Be Bad by Lili Valente & Lauren Blakely (Good Love #3)

❤❤❤❤

A steamy twist to the British Bake-Off! Good to Be Bad is perfect for any fans of baking competitions, but be warned: The steam isn't only coming from the kitchen!

After being misled by a one-night stand, Gigi is determined to keep West at an arms length. By the time she discovers the truth, they've both already started developing feeling for each other.

Gigi and West are both entered in the same baking contest, but as their relationship grows, there's someone trying to sabotage the competition.

This was such a sweet (pun intended) light-hearted romance with plenty of sexy times! I enjoyed all of the baking references and witty banter. A great book to escape in!

💋 Steamy Romance

SUMMARY:

It was only supposed to be one time.

But that red-hot one night stand from the party?

The sexy man in the suit who gave me more O's in a few hours than I've had in a year?

Turns out my charming British stranger is keeping a little secret.

He's as much of a whiz in the kitchen as he is in the bedroom and soon we'll be going head-to-head in NYC's biggest bake off.

My one-time lover is now my enemy. I vow to loathe him for all eternity, though that would be easier if I wasn't dying to get naked with him again.

But the more I learn more about my rival, the more I suspect he just might be everything I've wanted...

If only I knew how to let him in...

GOOD TO BE BAD is a sexy standalone romance in the Good Love series!

Savor You by Kristen Proby (Fusion #5)

🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳

Second chances never tasted SO good! Savor You is my favorite in the Fusion series and my heart is filled with so much happiness after listening to Mia and Camden's story.

Reunited after years apart brings feelings, both good and bad, back to the surface. When they're forced to work in close proximity for a new cooking show, they attempt a fresh start, but that can only last so long until they get closure for past mistakes.

With minimal drama, plenty of romance and laughter, a chance to interact with characters from previous books in the series - I was completely enamored with this story, from start to finish. I love the Fusion series and it's a definite must-read (or listen!)

SUMMARY:

In the next sizzling romance in Kristen Proby's New York Times bestselling Fusion series, two celebrity chefs compete in a culinary competition, but resisting each other will prove to be the greater challenge.

Cooking isn't what Mia Palazzo does, it's who she is. Food is her passion...her pride...her true love. She's built a stellar menu full of delicious and sexy meals for her restaurant, Seduction. Now, after being open for only a few short years, Mia's restaurant is being featured on Best Bites TV. To say Seduction is a wild success is an understatement. All the blood, sweat, tears, and endless hours of work Mia has put into the restaurant has finally paid off.

Then Camden Sawyer, the biggest mistake of her life, walks into her kitchen...

Camden's celebrity chef status is world-renowned. He's the best there is, and the kitchen is where he's most at home. He can't resist the invitation to Portland for a showdown against Mia for a new television show. Mia was in his life years ago, and just like before, he's met his match in the beautiful Italian spitfire. The way she commands the kitchen is mesmerizing, and her recipes are clever and delicious. He's never had qualms about competition, and this is no different. He can't wait to go head to head with Mia. But can he convince her the chemistry they share in the kitchen would be just as great in the bedroom as well?

As Mia and Camden face off, neither realizes how high the stakes are as their reputations are put on the line and their hearts are put to the ultimate test.

Tools of Engagement by Tessa Bailey (Hot & Hammered #3)

🔨🔧🧰🔧🔨

Sibling rivalry at it's best! Tools of Engagement was such a delight to read and listen to, especially since I love home improvement shows. The book draws you in with the characters and you feel like you're watching a reality show.

Wes stole my heart the second he volunteered to join Bethany's crew, leaving behind her brother. Bethany however, is reluctant to just hand over the reigns to him and makes him work for her trust.

A delightful RomCom that you'll make you want to read the entire series all over again. It also might just inspire you to do some home improvements of your own.

The audiobook for this was amazing to listen to, it perfectly brought the characters to life and made it that much more enjoyable for the reader.

💋 Romance

SUMMARY:

Hair, makeup, clothing, decor...everything in Bethany Castle's world is organized, planned, and styled to perfection. Which is why the homes she designs for her family's real estate business are the most coveted in town. The only thing not perfect? Her track record with men. She's on a dating hiatus and after helping her friends achieve their dreams, Bethany finally has time to focus on her own: flip a house, from framework to furnishings, all by herself. Except her older brother runs the company and refuses to take her seriously.

When a television producer gets wind of the Castle sibling rivalry, they're invited on Flip Off, a competition to see who can do the best renovation. Bethany wants bragging rights, but she needs a crew and the only member of her brother's construction team willing to jump ship is Wes Daniels, the new guy in town. His Texas drawl and handsome face got under Bethany's skin on day one, but the last thing she needs is some cocky young cowboy in her way.

As the race to renovate heats up, Wes and Bethany are forced into close quarters, trading barbs and biting banter as they remodel the ugliest house on the block. It's a labor of love, hate, and everything in between, and soon sparks are flying. But Bethany's perfectly structured life is one kiss away from going up in smoke and she knows falling for a guy like Wes would be a flipping disaster.

Beefcakes by Katana Collins (Maple Grove #4)

🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁

Beefcakes is the perfect fix for your sweet tooth! If you love The Bachelor and practically ANY baking competition, then you won't be able to get enough of this book.

You'll be drawn in from the first chapter with this witty and hilarious tale of two people that are absolute opposites, but with a chemistry that's hotter than it ever was before.

My cheeks were still sore the next day from laughing so much, and I honestly just want to watch a cake show and read the book all over again. A second chance romance with a clever twist, this is a book I promise you don't want to miss.

I stayed up until nearly 4am to finish Beefcakes and don't regret my wake up call only three hours later, totally worth every moment. This is one romantic comedy I'll be adding to my yearly "read again" list!

Summary:

Things are about to get sticky...

I might as well permanently add the label "Ex" to my name. I'm an Ex-Mr. Universe. Ex-Mr. Olympus. An Ex-Hollywood Stuntman. But no one from my small hometown cares anything about that. They only care that I'm the ex-boyfriend to the beloved Mayor's daughter, Elaina Dyker.

And now, ten years later, I'm back, helping my siblings run my mother's bakery while she takes on chemo. What should have been a routine cupcake delivery turns into utter chaos when the bachelorette party thinks I'm a stripper. And what's worse? Elaina is the maid of honor.

But the meme about us sure went viral fast. My small hometown has become positively infested with tipsy bridesmaids looking for my erotic cupcakes.

Now Hollywood's knocking again -- and this time they want me and my ex, Mr. Beefcake and Ms. Prude, to star in a reality show.

It could solve all my problems -- except her.
